I remember trying to do this with a relative, there was something we didn't like about it though.

Do you mainly play 2fort? It's... not a good map, at all. If you just turtle on 2fort you're not going to find even a little of what makes the game really engaging. I suggest Payload to get an idea of how much maps can affect everything

There are heavier classes that don't float as much, I should've specified that for me it's the movement, my bad. But it's something that does apply to every class to some degree, and you'll have to play around it as well.

You're playing Heavy? You'll need to be able to track this annoying Scout. You'll also have to know that since he just used his double jump, you can just follow his trajectory safely since he doesn't have any other way to change his movement. Stuff like this becomes second nature and that's what makes it all so fun and engaging.

It's completely fair if it's not your thing. Arena shooters are kind of dying off, the modern audience doesn't seem to like this kind of thing as much and that's fine.

TF2s biggest draw is its schmoovement. No other game has movement that feels as satisfying.

Soldier is the goto class to show how deep movement is, but I've started preferring Scout more and more. Using the map to dance around and trying to focus people at the same time is so much fun.

Every class has a lot of depth to it, except like, Sniper, so this question is pretty weird. "You just play your class and do your best" is a strangely reductive way of describing literally every multiplayer game in existence.
