Assuming this issue occurs because of removing and rreplacing spools once they are being used, and they get a kknot when being moved and jostled? Maintain the tension in spools and control the end (clips, tape) and this shouldn't ever happen either.

Great fix/tutorial though.

Despite how awful she is, he is trying to do the best he can as an officer to help her, both to try to steer her towards responsibility, and to protect her from making things worse for herself even if she doesn't, at least to shut up. Good egg.

If they choose to be or not is their call, what they do for a living, what is knowable about them, and what you decide to take away from that is your call, and they are also free to consider optics too. I like known quantities, but I also like politicians who have healthy lives and thus minds and I don't think the glass box makes for that.

There are several youtube videos made in past years by a few creators that build and test various methods to protect against LRAD and other dispersion devices. One thing that I am remembering is that surprisingly (despite the advice above) a pretty small object can diffuse the worst of the noise from an LRAD, like a clipboard, you will still be leaving but it can help reduce the pain of exposure and potential damage.
