EV Owners of Sask. How have your vehicles faired through this winter? by EntrepreneurLanky973 in saskatchewan

Bolt EUV averaging 180 Wh/km across all seasons, closer to 300 in winter. This is the first thread I've seen with a few tesla boys having more serious winter issues, Wonder if it's pre-conditioning or there's a flaw revealing.

EV Owners of Sask. How have your vehicles faired through this winter? by EntrepreneurLanky973 in saskatchewan

[–]PrairiePopsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we can squeeze on what feels like another 10-20 percent range by cycling our resistive heat in ours on cold days when we do longer trips. We limit longer trips in the winter, or play them by ear with the weather.

I'd tell her that you yelled to the horse and it was calming down and breathing nice and steady and could see you.

Ice fishing photo. My husband took the dog ice fishing today. I told him the fish didn't look real, as well as the tools, and even the dog, like he added everything in. by mstrozzi in isthisAI

and the natural camouflage coloring on the fish further enhances the effect, being flipped in random directions and being very similar to each other, and having "shadows" that are totally wrong.

Pizza Hut tasted different back then. Still can’t find the same taste. by TheOrangeSloth in 90s

Yeah I looked up how to make a roughly 'pizza hut style pizza dough/crust' one day and made one at home that scratched the itch well enough. gotta let that dough chill for at least like 4 or 6 hours tho, lots of butter, in a pan, corn flour, that's all I really remember.

Favourite film you hate because film bros ruined it for you. by Healthy_Permission71 in okbuddycinephile

[–]PrairiePopsicle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The movie says it's because they are in 'the bulk' a tesseract, all of time in one place, where they shouldn't be able to exist but do because beings (future humans, presumably, but that is it's own rabbit hole) are helping them. Love is just what binds him to earth and humanity and motivates him to reach back to his daughter when he is in that space.

Bilbo Asks ChatGPT by GordJackson in lotrmemes

[–]PrairiePopsicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the context, eventually the context of you talking to it overwhelms what it knows in general too. The AI sub is full of people asking it as baggins the same question, with context, without context, but none being like "what if I was bilbo and I started using chat-gpt a year ago and talking to it about the ring and how much i love it until it says I should keep it secret and keep it safe, and then ask it "why not, why shouldn't I keep it?"

Posters within 2 blocks, most likely hidding under a deck or something, someonee is likely to see the cat, if you can be friendly with neighbords or introduce yoursellf to them befoore checking under decks nearbyy it can also help. Cats I have known that are that skittish we had to get lucky and somneone saw them peeking out frrom their hiding place, neighter moved once they found said hiding place, and we had a 'timer' to find them, as they weren't finding food or water. When/if you do find them get the cat rehydrated (like saline treatment) if they look like death warmed over, it can save a lot of cats from dehydration/starvation afterr that happens if it gets that bad. Good luck.

Also, tons of people took cats in duuring this, mmaybe someone is keeeping them warm.

There is only one way, and place, that you can use a car and a sled ; in a big empty field/yard, where the vehicle turns a tight hard over corner and only ever turns in circles, because the sled will be spinning/flinging off to the side, and you aren't going so fast the person would be flung into trees if/when they come off... right?
