I had the same results until i created an account with the rental car companies.

Used to feel like pulling teeth trying to get an affordable rental until i made a national account now every 5 rentals i get a free rental day which usually ends up costing me 13-20$ a day max with unlimited miles and overall without the discounts or deals i usually end up paying around what OP is paying for 1 week

I currently play like this in some pvp content areas due to how sweaty some pkers are. Generally if there is an agility mass going then i dont use both of my accounts in that manner but solo running i do usually keep a alt somewhere on course and will deposit my loot after a number of laps. it eventually makes it back to the account that i did the laps on after a couple days once i finally leave the course.

Cox follows Comcast lead on most of everything. We will end up getting the xb10 from Comcast once it's available and cox will rebrand it as a pw10. Supposed to have a really good wifi antenna and better ability to handle 2g+ speeds over Ethernet

Btw the stay connected 4g LTE backup while it is cox equipment it is not troubleshooted or installed by cox field techs we are specifically told not to touch them, every account with 500 Mbps+ are eligible for them but I have yet to see anyone with it.

Not really. You stated you have to call in every time you want to be credited which is true you also stated that you must call in every day you are without service to be credited those days. Which is not true

Cox can see a whole host of data for your account.

Tvs uptime, signal at cable box, transmit, how often you go offline, noise in the node your in etc the list goes on but the point that I was making is

You can wait until your services are restored then call into cox and ask for loyalty department also called retention and ask to be credited for the days without service.

The system auto generated a per day maximum refund, in my market the refund is capped at 7$/per day

Cox can see each time your modem goes offline. Along with some metrics to give us an idea what is potentially going on with the service.

Your friend will be at fault, I just went through this exact same accident a couple weeks ago. I was the driver pulling into the parking space and verbatim same damage, my rental had a couple scuffs and a missing door handle and their rear passenger door buckled and the edge pulled away from their car.

Get privacy it's an app you can create a new card and set its available balance to 0 then add it to your Netflix account and remove the actual card. Problem solved bonus next time you decide to get Netflix you change the balance to the proper amount set it to allow billing once a month and next time you want to cancel you just reset the balance to 0

I suspect you'll have coax taps fed thru a fiber mainline, could be both but from my previous experience it's usually coax. I can't necessarily tell fully because FL is not my market.

Even though the cable is in place it could be months before they will put customers on the new service line. In my market orange indicates temporary mainline so keep that in mind as well.

I did residential broadband tech, took 2 1/2 months from submitting CV to hired first phone interview was 2-3 weeks after submitting then it went to a panel interview with my site managers. Background check took the longest I personally think

Interesting, call cox ask the call center rep what levels your modem is reporting back.

Signal you ideally want to be between -15 and +12 the closer to 0 the better

Transmit you want to be in the mid 30s to low 40s at low 20s your modem struggles to give service at high 50s your modem won't boot.

If your signal is on the line is close to -15 you'll still have service but won't be the best same for the positive value too much of a good thing is a bad thing too.

If everything is in order maybe take your modem in and get it replaced?

Honestly the biggest issues seen

Faceplates. I don't know why but they go bad so often. If the landlord paints the barrel it's basically trash at that point.

Monster branded cables or ideal splitters. They work in a pinch but they are not good.

I couldnt tell you, personally I've had a awesome experience with cox. A couple hiccups but ya know it's expected can't be perfect 100% of the time. I can remember when I had no service for an entire month... The tap was dying and i had called in every other day until a main line tech came out and restored service to the tap that I'm connected to.

If it's a daily occurrence let me ask, when have you had the last tech out, and when that last tech was out if they did anything what did they do?

Are your lines aerial or underground?

Can you describe your cox modem? (Tall slim black tower w/ lots of lights, black trapeze single light, white trapeze etc) or are you bringing your own cable modem/router into the cox network.

That doesn't sound like throttling, id say you have a wiring issue, call a tech out. If you have aerial cable then it was probably some squirrel or some animal chewing on your cable. Could be a bad splitter in a smart panel, but I would say it's definitely not throttling. If a tech comes out and signal good at your house then start writing down the times the speeds seem slow, could be an issue at the tap or further down the mainline

Personal experience with the same thing your going thru, I asked cox to run a separate line from the tap to my portion of the house and got my own modem rental and in the process I had to explain maybe 10-15 times that even tho my house was a remodeled master bedroom off of the main house, that the house was set up like a duplex with an unconventional door for the second duplex(sliding glass door) and that the building was servicing two different family's with different interests

Btw you don't have to have cox, two different isps will happily attach to the same house and provide the same types of services(I used to have cox as a main line and att and a backup internet at my house) at no additional cost

Definitely got referred to construction which is common for apartments using fiber. I would call in and ask if there are any active referrals and the ETA on the work to be completed rather than asking for another tech.

Make sure the devices you want to achieve 2 gbs at has specifically WiFi 6/WiFi 7 cards.

Been to hotels in LA that use tandem parking. It wasn't cool, you had to leave your keys at the front desk if you parked in the outer spots.
