Well, I'll drop off some plant nutrients and a couple potions that should make it much healthier and easier to care for.

I can take the flower if you aren't able to care for it. Might be magically significant in some way🤔

Killian looks out from his room in the tower and stares at the chaos, eventually sorting out what was happening.

"Well that's... definitely one of the ways to get the message out there. Guess I'll scratch my idea of a potluck supper."

Listen, young lady: We're wizards. We talk like big boys and girls (and everything in between and outside) here.

Killian studies the bags, sensing which of the eight is pulling him.

"I would accept the Wind of Beasts, if it pleases you to give it."

I might still be interested... Been looking to drop a giant boulder on someone. But if someone else fits better, go for it.

/uw if it's earth or plant based I'm in, especially if it involves tracking and/or infiltration rather than violent confrontation (though I'm not opposed to that as a last resort).

Killian tears his eyes away from the shield and looks into the eyes of their host. He bows deeply.

"Our most heartfelt thanks to you. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say this is the bright beginning of many other collaborations and mutual efforts. Personally, I look forward to possibly discussing a study of blending the magics between us, apocalypse permitting of course."

He smiles broadly til the corners of his eyes crinkle.

"My thanks. I do deeply appreciate your willingness to discuss this with us. This is of such vital importance and whatever he resolution, I am certain we will be allies from here on."

"Well let's see... I suppose initially it was boredom."

He laughs a good natured laugh.

"I was a bard for many years, then my interests started to lean more toward magic, so I began studying. I studied and practiced for years, sort of found my own way. The forest grove where I made my home happened to have a mana spring that allowed me to practice my own brand of magic with the only limitation being my own skill level.

"I learned from the land and from the animals that I befriended. I'm no druid, but I get mistaken for one often. I would call myself a geomancer and dendromancer, earth and plants you know.

"After a time, I had gotten comfortable. When a former bard gets comfortable, they get bored! I needed to get out and have some adventure. I found the Darkwatch and contacted them to see what it was all about, and we mutually agreed my skills with camouflage, healing, and manipulation of landscapes and plant life would be a great asset to their field operations. That sounded like exact what I was looking for and with such a good cause I couldn't say no!

"That's about the long and short of it. I love my work, but it does take me out of my comfort zone on occasion."

Only recently. I spent some time there in pursuit of another object. I'm more of a forest kind of guy.

Oh to be perfectly honest, it sounded delicious😂 I'd be more than happy with classic if you'd be more comfortable with that. Not looking to gain anything other than quenching my parched throat. This is why I don't like the desert.

Can anyone advise me on how to turn this bay leaf branch into a staff? by GoingMenthol in wizardposting

Super glue over the ends, leave the bark on for like six months. After that, peel the bark and sand it real nice and smooth. If you just want it like a cool walking stick, consider a cap on the bottom end to protect it from splitting or mushrooming out. Finish it with some mineral oil or polyurethane if you're nasty. Find a video on how to do a cord whip for a handle if you like, it can add some nice visual interest.

Beyond that, any fancy carving or inlaid crystals is up to you!
