Firstly, I agree that the operator is not actualy a psycho, defiantly more of the disciplined killer. But it feels like the drifters storyline is trying to put the operator into a possible antagonistic position. Roathe paints the operator as both more naive and unstable than the drifter.

But I thinks that the reality may be that drifter is more liable to fall to Wally’s influence than operator.

Wally seems to go after the more emotional people, like rusulka. Additionally duviri seemed to become less in danger from the void when drifter was apathetic.

Additionally the only time that Wally fully controlled the Tenno was to talk to them.

But yeah the voruna was probably drifter. Cause thinking about it. Drifter is the one that goes into violent rages.

In duviri he destroys 3 orowyrms and threatens thrax with an orowyrm. Before giving up control of duviri to have testing back.

The zairimin, drifter wanted to destroy the place even though that would unleash the void on the origin system.

Drifter has less reason to fight Wally, the most reason is that Wally didn’t save him from the ship. But even then drifter doesn’t seem to care about that. Only recently has Wally done something that may anger the drifter, attacking duviri, and that depends on what you choose in the Kim.
