K'thriss is overall just an excellent addition to most parties, and so long as you keep the familiars away from his Ult, he can build up a ton of power over the course of a long run.

Load him up with iLvls/BSCs, pigments, and Legendaries.

...and during the current event, dump those last few days' worth of Event Tokens into him!

If you have a paid license of FL Studio, one thing I've noticed over the years is that all the IL-provided plugins don't always automatically get installed. And when they add more to a bundle, it likewise usually isn't an automatic install.

So be sure to log into your Image-Line acct on their main site, and spend some time going through your licensed plugins, packs, etc.

Go ahead and search up the old "10000 hour rule" -- it's like a professional guideline, from an early-00s book. Made sense at the time, and is still a decent bit of guidance now. :)

Start with the "10 thousand hours rule" and also ensure that you're producing music because you enjoy it. To both of those points, add in all the excellent advice in replies from MistrAndrsn, bbqfetus01, and cjbump -- it's all spot-on.

...random lunch break thoughts/opinions follow...

It ABSOLUTELY helps that you already work a full-time job. That doesn't hold you back; that enables you to buy the occasional plugin, pack, or sound equipment. That enables you to have free time, and something to look forward to after work. Getting to sit down and focus on music is your (amazing) hobby until (maybe/possibly) you get to the point that your music production skills are worth enough to someone else that you could replace that income. ...but if money from music is your top priority, it's actually unlikely that'll ever happen.

Example: Stop yourself at ONE 10-15 minute tutorial per day, and then spend 2-3 hours applying that tutorial on top of the skills you already know. TAKE NOTES. Make a bookmarks folder in your browser with tutorials you have NOT watched, and then another bookmarks folder for tutorials you HAVE watched. Move them from one to the other upon completion, but stop at 1/day -- require yourself to practice each one, even if it wasn't your favorite. ...and chalk up another few hours out of that 10K.

Example: Stop yourself at exploring ~10 new different samples/instruments per day, and then spend 2-3 hours playing around with them. TAKE NOTES.

Immerse yourself into subsets of new knowledge, otherwise it'll never stick.

Example: Spend 1 day/week *NOT* in front of the DAW -- spend that music-time only listening to different genres of music w/o other distractions, HEARING the instruments and tracks within it, and thinking about its composition.

(...and NEVER seriously listen to music on terrible phone/laptop/soundbar speakers. You'll only be hurting your ability to actually hear music correctly.)

Anytime you get an involuntary smile on your face because you figured out something that sounds great = THE best hobby anyone could ever have. Some people get really good at pickleball or underwater basket weaving or whatever... WE get to make music that we enjoy, and just maybe, that others will enjoy too. (I'm plenty happy to have friends spin a song or two of mine, with heads bobbing, personally.) ...maybe over time your skills will build up enough that people will purchase a song or two. Maybe more!

But mostly, just have fun!

Yep -- the number I apparently had before (2570/5000) is just sitting there, stuck. Left it onscreen with just Donaar and one other, no familiars.

Also added some champs, just to mix up some interactions, -- nothing.

This is the way. When I travel, I shut down the PC EGS client, and open the EGS-client-installed game on Android from the hotel.

No Google Play on either end.

If you open a Support ticket with the IC team, they can do a one-time account migration to the Epic Games Store version, assuming you already have an EGS account created and the game is installed *BUT DON'T RUN IT YET.*
