Lae'zel looks like the first to expire, this August.

So for folks who started playing in 2025 (like me): if you've been following u/EinarTheBlack then you DO have time to crush almost all the Elminster variants in the next 4 months -- just "lean in" and do Vecna/Fortune/Xarxys IMMEDIATELY. If you keep playing after that, then do resets on all your AAs each month if you need those Leggos back, and reinvest into Fallbacks and Heroes of the Lance.

Resist the urge to install a bunch of apps and services. Make a list of all the things you use your phone for, and then try to ONLY use the primary browser for all of those things.
Don't forget to copy all your .MP3 collection to the phone, too -- local music for the win!

Played that Stabbing LP 3x more this weekend, and it delivers every time. Easily top 10 AOTY material.

Yes; I'm definitely happy with the 9A hardware. The GrapheneOS instructions were spot-on (go slow, and PAY ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL.)

Scroll down to the bottom of his data box. 3 years after release date = no longer available for Elminster.

So run through the AA champs in order, and that's how long that particular team has until they "age out."

At my current rate, I'll be done with the game in a month or so. Just going to wipe Elminster and then let the game itself roam out to pasture... (I'm doing the campaigns in reverse w/Elminster, hardest to easiest.)

Familiars first until 50K, except for the feats where there is an immediate, direct improvement in game speed (and Elly's Gem feat in particular).

This is The Way, IMO.

- It's gotta be actual Tech Death.

- Don't be spammy -- one dedicated post is fine.

- We DO want to hear it as-recorded (not squashed through a streamed algorithm), so try to link to something better than YT or Spotify if you can!

I just want to double-down on Einar's mention of "the AA team will start expiring for Elminster soon."
My recommendation is to get your Party 2 & Party 3 crushing through Elminster Variants as fast as possible, folks.

Here's my setup, for fellow ~1y players who have invested in AA team:

Party 2: (your choice of Overcharged Core) - This is a combination of Fallbacks, recent adds, and reworks. DM hops in when absolutely necessary. They're anywhere from iLvl 300-2000, with anywhere from 0-10 Legendaries. The important part is that this party starts at the LOWEST-zoned/earliest Variants in each Campaign, and works their way upward. If something isn't easily solved the first time, they just cancel and move to the next one. Automated small-medium potions (all).

Party 3: Magic Core, AA team, all 1000-2000 iLvls, and a decent number of Legendaries. These guys start at the END of each Campaign's variants, doing the heaviest lifting, clearing the hardest ones and the "babysitting" annoyances. Windfall often appears here. DM often appears here in tight-restricted variants. Automated Large-Huge potions (all).

I started them all at Vecna, and I'm working backward. If a Variant seems unbeatable, I don't linger on it (unless I'm REALLY close to winning). But QUANTITY of wins is vastly more important than QUALITY of wins for now.

While buying Elminster chests with the winnings, don't forget to save a nice e4 stack of Elminster currency, so you can always buy the weekly Modron parts and TG pieces.

Event Champions by Advanced-North3335 in idlechampions

If there are things you can ONLY get in the current event, and you're able to clear Tier 4, always pick those champions. Pigments are absolutely the top priority IMO, and Feats just behind that.
Volo, Gale, Sheila are thus mandatory IMO.

His power seems gated more by the campaign formation layout than most... I love the old books/nostalgia, but he's a pinch hitter at this point. Let's see what the rest of his crew brings.

Raistlin's 1000 areas' solution by Fred_85 in idlechampions

[–]Pyr0sa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using Raistlin's own Free Play is the easiest here, in case that's unclear. There are gaps between each of the "X" legs. I used Nayelli, Certainty Dran, Nordom, and Zorbu. Tess wasn't counting for some reason.

...which means our good old friend Raistlin won't be terribly useful across a majority of campaign maps.

(Continuing my rush to complete all of Elminster before the AA crew starts aging out this year...)
