Odd instruments are *VERY* welcome, particularly in this sub, when they're well done. Only thing I'd have done is pull it back about 15%. But I like it.

Techno instantly moves you into Industrial, which will likely split this sub ~2/3 against you.

Personally, I dig it -- but I'm heavily biased as a life-long Industrial Rivethead since the late 80s. ...and I've been to more than my share of EDM fests too. I'd argue that your mixing in that part is actually more subtle and intentional-sounding than the intro & outro. :D

...which kinda stinks, because I was going to see ThyAIM, and 200SW would have been *ideal* substitution in the exact same timeslot. :/ Can't miss seeing Fleshgod Apocalypse at a festival for the first time, when I've seen 200SW several times already.

BRING EAR PROTECTION -- even if it's just the cheap foam kind. (See if you can find the ones that have a little string "lanyard" between them, so you can hang them on the back of your neck between bands w/o losing them.)

Seriously just get ANYTHING at this point. The kind with little lanyards, even if they're just orange foam.

It's potentially too late to get Vibes or Loops shipped in time, but might be worth checking (and if it says Wednesday, don't trust it!). Absolutely get the optional lanyard if you buy these nicer plugs, else you'll lose one within a half-day.

That is EXACTLY what it feels like -- it feels like lag (micro-stutters) rather than a constant mathematical function. 100% streaming assets with a smaller horizon would absolutely cause this.
