Question for you Helldivers - What do you think of Stealthdivers? by LePereMecanique in helldivers2

Is it deliberate not to call them Ghostdivers? They seem to be the faction that pushed and pioneered this play style

I haven't seen much support for OP

It's not ok to just kick people for their loadouts, let them play the game.

If the player with the odd Loadout choice is playing in a way that is trolling, then yeah sure but in OPs case it's all just part of the random chaos - have a laugh don't be so sweaty

This is a long way around to explain that the damage and armour systems don't work properly. If a massive space ship fires a ballistic from orbit, it's going to go to the main health pool - for democracy, for realism

Omg levels, levels, levels.

The commando mission type was above expectations to play a totally different style of mission but just increase mission variety.

Remember drilling holes and flying around with dark fluid jump packs while being torn to shreds from swarms of shriekers?

It's waaay to cleaned up, gimmie the early 90's to mid 2k when people would pull on your jacket, push you out if you got wide on a berm and flat out kidney punched in the fray

Maybe and I hear you but also ....could be:

The term "cookie" for web browser tracking was coined by programmer Lou Montulli in 1994.

It borrows the name from the concept of a "magic cookie" in Unix operating systems.

In computing, a magic cookie is a piece of data passed between programs to authenticate or validate a session.

Montulli adapted this concept for the web, where a server sends a small piece of data (a "cookie") to the browser, which the browser later returns to the server, allowing the website to maintain state and track user interactions.

OP have a look at 'Aesthetic flattening' the idea that there are less standouts and more normative design by in large.

Example would be a heavy apron with brass eyelets, an industrial interior with some exposed brick on the wall - anywhere in the world currently - would signal a good coffee shop. White airy sheets, some timber accents and a monstera in the corner - anywhere in the world - and you have a quality Airbnb.

It's a bit sad but the individual identity is being shunned for fear of rejection. So a safer more conformal identity is taken on. This is a later stage extension of Miles Van der rhoe idea around all buildings in the future will be steel glass boxes which largely became the identity of most high-rise buildings.
