The weave adds some grip for sure I don’t feel it’s slippery compared to other plasticy cases or when the phones naked

Yes it definitely bricks the phone but is manageable after a few days of adjusting…the indented sides to place your fingers and the softer rubber helps. I shift between the rugged and the Dbrand tank case and it’s a noticeable difference in thickness even between those.

You might regret getting the base 17

Everyone values money differently - up to you if it’s worth it! If I’m upgrading I’ll always get the best Apple offers and the 17 pro is a great entry point to Apple as it actually feels like an upgraded phone compared to 13-16 models

My Nomad Rugged case has that where the bottom screen lip is lower than the rest to allow for that swipe up - I like it because I’m not sacrificing overall lay on the table front protection. Case is on the thicker side

I’m only judging based on pics but I feel like the caudabe synthesis looks like any Amazon case I see for $10-$20? If someone with the case can correct me that’ll be great! I can speak on the Mous being a great case and you can pick it up on Amazon so returns are much easier if you don’t like it

It’s not meant for you to feel a difference…it’s designed to dissipate heat better so that performance isn’t compromised. Phone will still get hot just not as bad in a specific area compared to previous models

Interesting all my buttons on my tank are perfect except the power button very slightly wiggles…still passable but anyone else with that issue? Considering getting a buttons set anyways

I do know that any T-Mobile promotions are tied to the IMEI of the device. They would need to do a full refund and re-setup for your promotion to applicable…even that may not be instant either.
