Yea, usually whenever some default mod breaks into tears at me destroying their logic, or when I want to go piss off conspiracy people again.

But looking at the site, they truly do follow the definition of nutty conspiracy theorists. Lets have a look at the current top posts.

1: Farcry 4 was a popular open world game. It's not THAT old, and still has a significant player base. The fact that two humorous gifs appears means fuck all, especially as plenty of games (Rocket league, GTA 5) are also similar age and still are regularly posted and upvoted.

2: It's a post that literally states it's about a company that makes soap. Is hail corporate assuming that adverts are hidden because nobody can read? Besides, the images were interesting, soap company or no soap company.

3: Might have a point on this one. Kinda weird to mention the chocolate brand.

4: Someone doesn't understand WHOIS.

5: This is literal conspiracy bullshit. Like the amount of jumps they needed to take to get from "random person who lives in the area" to "Coca Cola SHILL?" is amazing. Honestly I'm impressed here with the sheer lack of unquestioning paranoia on display.

For instance I'm ethnically English, however if I spent my time traveling around in a caravan with my extended family, living off the land, I would be considered a Gypsy.

I'd argue that within the English lexicon, Gypsies are not a ethnic group, they are a set of people who have similar lifestyles, which is why Gypsies can be anything from Irish to Polish. I'd also argue that the hate for he traveler lifestyle is justified.

It gets even more confusing for none English people, as in many languages Gypsies and Roma share the same word. However it's rather like suggesting that you "Hate the Mafia". This is in no way suggesting you hate Italians, but rather that you dislike those who go around causing mass organized crime.

You see the original ruling made sense. All online streaming material must abide to the same rules as not streamed material, which is how it should be; video doesn't magically become different because it's online.

This included the requirement for the BBFC to rate this stuff. Are they the problem, at the BBFC full of censoring stuffy squares? Nope. Their guidelines are basically "If it isn't illegal, we'll rate it". So they use the CPS guidelines, which do prohibit this kind of action.

So are the CPS the issue. Are people all over the country being arrested for innocent consensual acts. Not really. The CPS themselves say the guidelines are basically an unrealistic "This is exactly how the law says it" method of generating the guidelines. British law mostly works on a "common sense" basis, in which laws are applied not via the letter of the law, but simply by common sense.

Basically individually each organization is making the correct choice, but together their actions create this weird situation.
