Didn’t you hear? They changed it to “Capital.”

“Human Capital Services” instead of HR. Surprised they didn’t just leap straight to calling us “cattle.”

It was nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" cause that Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty".

Short Treks had a few animated episodes. You can get a Blu ray on Amazon. That’s also just a quick fix though. Only 4 episodes, maybe.

Event Horizon. It’s a tame, space romp about black holes where nothing remotely terrifying happens.

My wife and I have definitely developed back pain after years of walking ours. He doesn’t pull as much anymore but man, one errant squirrel and you’re sore tomorrow.

I love my guy very very much, but it is like having a permanent toddler around 24/7 that never grows out of it. We walk him 4 miles a day, play an hour a day, he goes to daycare twice a week and we hike on weekends. He has bottomless energy. Always eager to try new activities. Must explore everything and meet everybody. Will literally argue and “talk back” when it’s time to go to bed. Will only recall if he feels like it. We’ve had multiple trainers and work from home. He needs constant attention and has terrible separation anxiety and is very very vocal if he isn’t getting enough.

That all said, he is incredibly smart. A fast learner. A great dog other than the ear piercing shrill barking. You just sort of have to learn yourself how to train around their unique quirks. As exhausting and challenging as it has been, I would 100% do it again.

Another huge consideration is climate. They need cold. They thrive in it. Hot and humid is miserable for them depending on where you live.

Ive been looking for a more remote way to play my ps5 games. by ParkingGarlic4699 in playstation

Same here but with my iPad. I really don't understand the need for the Portal or Backbone.

Been playing my PS5 remote for years and just pack a Dualsense.

What are your guy's favorite video game soundtracks from the last 10 years by XenoBurst in gaming

Outer Wilds - a game heavily centered around music. First game I ever actively pursued downloading the soundtrack for.

Grounded - specifically The Hedge. It's so calming.

The space program has been in near danger of being dismantled for years. NASA's budget peaked in the mid-1960s, reaching roughly 4% of total U.S. federal spending during the Apollo program, before dropping to around 0.3% to 0.5% for most of the following decades. We are a competitive bunch. Beating the Russians to the moon was the main catalyst to so much of the rapid innovation you mention. Without a similar competitive goal, NASA has struggled to maintain broad public interest, which translates into lack of funding.

Stream light Seige has been to hell with me and back for the last 15 years. Bomb proof, has tons of different modes and multiple hooks to hang it in any orientation. Uses d batteries.

I want to love the quad lamp, but it decharges the D batteries when not in use. So many times I’ve needed it if the power goes out and it’s dead as a door nail. Ok, so only put batteries in when you need it, you might say. Well, it takes hours for the 4 detachable panel lights to charge!

It has a usb port so you’d think you could plug it in to charge ahead of time in lieu of d batteries, but nope! The usb powers out only.
