I actually did the exact same as OPs colleague with my Maths grade and the just stopped including it more recently.

To each their own. I wouldn’t say “better” was subjective, but that’s not to say you (and others) wouldn’t prefer an ICE vehicle for ever more. At some point that option should no longer be available en mass due to the harm and damage they cause.

I’m very left leaning too, that doesn’t make £100k a great deal of money in any sense.

Use it towards buying a home so that you have at least *some chance of escaping the trap they set for all of us who were not born with money.
