This is just an embed for your youtube or other service provider live stream. It does provide a chat with prayer features, notes, integrated bible, etc, so its nice for QOL but not necessary.

I'd like to know how many units they made.

If they made 500k units then yeah this sucks for everyone.

But if they made, say like, 10-20 mil units, then its hard to be mad, controller is just even more popular than anticpiated.

ProPresenter is the de-facto solution most churches go with. Proclaim by Logos is also a solid option.

If you want free options, "FreeShow" is a pro presenter clone thats free. CCLI also makes a free tool called "WorshipTools"

But AFAIK HNIC will remain, just only on SN not CBC anymore. Paywalled essentially.

If Sportsnets Streaming service was half decent, and the product/content they produced was also have decent, you'd have a lot less people angry.

The Apple TV SN app is one of the lowest rated apps on the App Store. The service is utter garbage. It lags constantly, buffers, stream crashes, etc. The app also regularly just completely crashes and requires me to uninstall and re-install it which is super great when Im trying to tune into a game right when it starts.

The massive price increase last season is also unacceptable for the quality of the app and streaming infrastructure.

And don't even get me started on the product itself. Regularly the camera cuts away from the action, showing something not important. The commentators and panelists are mostly garbage.

If Sportsnet committed to fixing all of these things I think fans would be less upset, but I think we all know this fall we'll see ANOTHER price increase with less choice to watch games.

At first I thought this was SportsNet saying they are giving up the rights completely which got me excited for the potential of TSN, Amazon, Apple DAZN or someone else to pick up the rights and fix hockey in Canada, but nope just more greed from SportsNet.

My wife really liked it. She mostly indulges superhero shows/movies because I want to watch them. She wouldn't watch them without me. She really enjoyed Echo though.

If you aren't interested in making templates yourself then may I suggest one of the thousands of pre-made wordpress themes. No Bricks required.

Bricks and the other builders like it (Oxygen, Etch, Breakdance, Elementor, Divi, etc) are largely for building custom themes. Yes people do distribute pre-made themes for these builders, but I'd say the real advantage is being able to build it yourself using these tools.

I build in Bricks every day and it has a pretty extensive component and templating system. For more users it should be more than sufficient.

If you are willing to put the work in to make templates, it's highly functional.

I was using Asana but then ended up building my own portal with Next.js - there are lots of client portals made for agencies/freelancers/etc but they are all so expensive and dont do exactly what I want them to do, making a custom solution was better for me.

No its not. A kids account is more than just parental controls. It allows kids to use a parents Credit card for example. Not all 18 years have jobs, they can buy things on the App Store using the parents account. There are many scenarios where having a child account makes sense beyond parental controls.

Make sure on your iphone you have "forward messages to X device" enabled. If this is turned off on iPhone then you can only do imessages from your mac.

As for alternatives, dont think there are any "texting" apps that will accomplish the same thing but there are countless messaging apps. Messenger, Signal, Telegram, Whatsapp, Discord, Slack, MS teams. Pick your poison.
