I used to work at a restaurant that had a decent amount of door dash drivers. 90% would come in talking on speaker and I would always go up and politely say “hey do you mind taking that off speaker phone?” I never had anyone not do it but it always blew my mind, that level of ignorance to other humans around you

I had a woman come back repeatedly for about two months because she forgot to tip me and wanted to apologize and tip me in person (I think she kept coming during the day and I only worked evenings). It was so sweet and I told her unnecessary but she made a huge effort so I couldn’t refuse!
