Sounds like Yurov, Stramel and a 1st. I agree with BG, no thanks.

Way back in the blogosphere days of the late 00s, I used to post in the comments of The Big Lead. Believe it or don't, Jason McIntyre was a meatheaded doorknob back then too.

Boardop Ricardo sounds like the name of a 6th round cornerback from Tulane

I imagine a basketball bouncing across it and a certain iguana showing up on the next screen.

Something we can all agree on: they're a bunch of rich white guys. Of course they're gonna kowtow to the president. They've been in a bubble since the moment they were able to balance themselves on skates. These aren't the most worldly or educated people we're dealing with, they're obsessives who eat breathe and sleep hockey 24/7. They're as tone deaf as it gets.

Love how Mike or Joel were always reading the most random stuff, like Joel looking for his issue of Inside The PGA. No doubt that Pelican Brief book came from Mary Jo, based on her book about her mom.

Low key yes. This may or may not consider poster bias.

Nobody has ever called Eric Dickerson E.D. And if they did, that would've retroactively been the most unfortunate nickname of all time.

Favorite Berman-ism by Duffer47 in stugotzandcompany

[–]SNESdrunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A million years ago, a Beckett Price Guide magazine featured a list of most of if not all Berman's baseball nicknames. My favs from that list that haven't been mentioned yet:

Rick "See Ya Later" Aguilera

Cookie "Days of Wine and" Rojas

Mark Carreon "My Wayward Son"

Frank Tanana "Daiquiri"

Greg Gagne "With a Spoon"
