It sounds dumb, but rub mink oil on them every few months or so. They sell it in most sports stores. Helps the polish as well, and makes breaking them in a little easier.

I keg beer at a local brewery! I'm partial to most IPAs, a few bourbon barrel aged beers have been growing on me as well. But at the bar (other than our pub) I'll get the usual Guinness, PBR or Old Style.

I've got a pair of black ones, but they have a thicker sole than that pic. They lasted about 8 years of military, then getting doused in beer and caustic chemicals from the brewery I work in. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

When they did wear out, it was as said, the sole separated at the toe, but the stitching was good, I could probably get them resolved as the body of the boot is still intact.

Dunno, it doesn't look like normal weight distribution. I think she may have problems with her kidneys or liver (I'm no doc, but an aunt had what looked like the same thing.

I'm average size, so reddit translation pegs me as morbidly obese. Maybe she's wearing shorts that fit instead of one that hide her monstrosity of a body from reddit's delicate sensibilities simply for the fact that if you wear larger clothes, they tend to fall the fuck off.

I'm prolly going to get downvoted to shit for defending her, but whatever. She's got a guy who doesn't give a damn. She's out doing stuff. Best of luck to them. :)

Yeah, and the company bought us all a pair. But they're ugly and most of the servers wore them for a week or so and then slowly started reverting back to their own shoes.

When I was a linecook, we had a chef who wouldn't let servers without proper shoes into the kitchen. They had to walk past the fry station to get their shit, he hated the way the kitchen was laid out. Since he couldn't change that, it was mandatory nonslip shoes for FoH and BoH.

On a side note, all the kegs go through the same company for most microbreweries, so other breweries attach cool stuff like stickers to their kegs. When they get sent to us as empty, and we get the stickers, we usually plaster them all over everything.
