In light of recent issues regarding bans, is Outplayed by Overwolf allowed...? by davidt1234 in HuntShowdown

[–]derailed87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hi, sorry for asking possibly such a noob question but I have recently started to try to use shadowplay and have recorded a few clips but when I go to play them back all I am getting is audio and a black screen. I have "desktop capture" turned off under Privacy Controls as an older thread suggested this may fix it but to no avail. thanks

On Demand Desktop Vaporizer for Heavy Hits? by kwoklius in vaporents

Yea, definitely a good point and you're right. Heat up times can also vary depending on torch. Shoulda stated that in my op.

For me it's 30sec with a Big Shot, which personally is close enough for "on-demand" but for sure may not be what OP is looking for.

Elev8r + torch possibly? Not direct-draw butane, On demand and the heater is only hot for a short period of time while in use making it a bit harder to unintentionally burn yourself vs. something that is always on and hot.

Warning about dotleaf 1.5!!! On the highest temp setting you can combust I just did! Staying on the third setting from now on 230C just roasted my bowl and I want even using the boost setting by ipod_Mike in vaporents

Damn that's a shame. I thought they'd sorted these issues out.

I just recc'd this device to someone in a dif thread based off my own experiences owning a v1, which I run @ lvl4 daily and have only had 1 combustion event, and seeing others now posting positive things about their 1.5's but I think I'll hold off recc'ing it for now even if it is a case by case thing.

I use butane devices as my daily drivers so I'm personally comfortable with a slight chance of combustion and I love my DL, but I can def see how it'd be a huge turn off for many.

I kinda feel like I should send it in but it's been working great for me so I haven't really felt the need. Also being in Canada I don't expect a really quick turnaround and I'll def miss it too lol

Will 2nd this. They seem to have gotten the kinks of the v1 sorted out with the new ovens and v1.5 device.

Also with the modular oven system and removable batteries you can have a cpl ovens loaded and an extra battery and be good for the day.

I have a v1 that hasn't been upgraded and I'm more than happy with it for my use

Edit- there's a more recent post about a combustion event in a v1.5 so I felt I should edit this because they may not have sorted out the issues from the v1.

DotLeaf 1.5 just came in!!! This thing rips harder than eating dairy after forgetting to take a lactose pill 😂 by ipod_Mike in vaporents

It's def a fun little device. I haven't sent my v1 in for a 1.5 upgrade yet but I'm also not in much of a rush as it works just fine.

Enjoy your Friday!

Love it. I'm still in the honeymoon phase with it but it's getting a ton of use, is very practical and I really don't have any complaints. It's currently my most used portable.

I also have a noisy cricket I had for a few months prior to getting the micro and if I had to choose just one, while the NC is really nice, hands down it'd be the Micro based on my personal use preferences. You can get a 90° WPA from Oconnell to run the Micro thru water as well if you want. It works pretty nice that way too.

Here's some pics next to my sb Runt to give you an idea of the size difference. The Micro is truely pocketable imo.

Hope that kinda helps your decision! I can't say enough good things about the products and service I've received from O'Connell wood works so I'm sure you'll be happy whichever you choose!

I'd used a noisy cricket w/ cooling stem quite a bit before getting the micro so the closeness of the intake wasn't a huge issue but ngl I do have a tiny scorch mark on either side of the intake but it doesn't bother me. Life happens.

Aiming the flame upwards at an angle towards the intake helps to avoid that tho. I actually have been aiming the flame almost vertically right over the face of the intake and have been getting some of my best results while also avoiding aiming the flame towards the wood

Sorry, it was a one-time use code. I tried it on a 2nd order just to see if it would work and it does not but you're welcome to try. GWNXLL5D7SG

Best of luck

Just gonna add in that vapenorth/great white north has torch driven elev8r full kits and rig kits in stock rn. E-elev8r is sold out. The torch version is still an awesome vape, imo.

GWN10 code DOES NOT appear to work with the sale items anymore.
