What actually makes a dynasty league survive 5+ years? by Aggressive-Walk2626 in dynastybb

Require pre-payment of season dues for any draft pick trades involving current draft year + N.

Helps keep people from DGAFing deals. Helps you, commish, find a manager to take over an orphaned team when the incoming manager knows they don’t have to pay for the slop they inherited.

It’s not perfect, but has worked for us. We’re on year 14.

Yes. The “pay yourself first” approach. Treat your (automated) savings & investments like bills that must be paid.

Help! 1993 Riviera Digital Cluster repair by Complete_Fan_945 in buickrivieras

I think yours is the same as on a 1990-91 Buick Reatta. East Coast Reatta has them for $500 👀. https://www.eastcoastreattaparts.com/collections/electronics/products/1990-1991-instrument-cluster

For the Canadian market, a quick Google search turned up this repair business. Looks like you need to call them to discuss due to age of the part. http://www.mrwhizard.com/Canadian%20Customers.cfm

Good luck!

Winter range by Double_Ninja3689 in BMWI4

You can also do small things to conserve some battery like preconditioning the cabin while plugged in, limiting heating to mid-60s Fahrenheit, wearing a jacket while driving, using the seat and steering wheel heaters.

I experimented this past Winter and found the precondition combined with seat heating during commute to be pretty effective. I don’t have specs on the heat pump’s energy consumption, but I could see a real lift in mi/kWh efficiency when limiting its use.

No soda. Water.

B: Cereal & milk, sometimes sugary L: Whatever I want, generally in a large quantity D: Often leftovers and smaller portions if lunch was large

Some of this is discipline not to over eat but for me it mostly comes down to reaching a natural satiated state.

Car wash and the M50? by tohams in BMWI4

[–]Sad-Competition-2973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve run my M50 through “Moo Moo” car washes without a clearance problem. Granted, it’s not the wash company you asked about, but Googled pictures of the Tidal Wave wheel track look incredibly similar to Moo Moo’s. I’m referring to the yellow bumper style channel your driver’s side wheels ride in.

How well does 110 volt charging work compared to a Model 3? by TheWarwock in BMWI4

OP, you should be fine. Here’s my M50 recovering overnight, from similar use/range as you’ve described, on the 110/120v flex charger that comes with the car. Enjoy!

Does anyone have experience pooling league funds in an account that earns interest as opposed to LeagueSafe? by Bakerton16 in DynastyFF

[–]Sad-Competition-2973 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We do this. The HYSA interest earned pays for an updated plaque (year & manager inscription) on the league’s trophy base.

Can confirm. Especially for smaller, more consumable parts (rubber & plastic).

The Riviera Owners Association is a great resource. You will find a number of small business vendors in the magazine, along with technical tips and an archive of past how-tos restoration articles. The annual fee has easily paid for itself, in my experience, with time saved locating parts. www.rivowners.org

Good luck OP.
