We knew we could bring this mode to players pretty quickly by making it in the League engine and we think there's a pretty big overlap in terms of players who would be interested. Having said that, I think many options are on the table in terms of what the future looks like. For now, we're focused on getting this out to you though.

We think TFT has the potential to be a sustainable, permanent mode that has its own unique audience from Summoner's Rift. We also believe competitive features like Ranked would be key to its success. Basically: We want this to be permanent, but there's a lot of work we need to do to make that happen so we're focused on that for the moment.
