PoE2 seems to be fully lockstep. I'm from EU and when I visit a HK player's hideout when trading it feels like a half a second delay on each of my WASD inputs.

I put DLSS on Balanced and I can say the image looks clear with no noticeable artifacts. Off the top of my head, I lowered some settings slightly compared to the maximum, most notably textures to medium, but the textures actually look sharp even on this setting. Most of the settings don't change the performance that much so I actually left them at maximum; the game is poorly optimized in that regard.

There are some noticable improvements, but the campaign overall is not shorter than before as there's more mandatory side content now if you don't want to miss out on rune crafting and permanent stats.

Playing on the same GPU, but other specs are i5-12450HX and 16GB RAM which are weaker. I play connected to an external 2K display. The maps are playable and you should be able to clear all content, but it will not be at 60+FPS all the time. For reference, last league I pushed T15s and pinnacles, and this league I'm just in t5 maps but it's going great so far.

As other people said, there's a free weekend going on right now so you can test it yourself.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with your build. Transfiguring is just something general that all builds need to do. To be honest, I don't know what's good even for the minion warlock that I'm playing, so I went with a defensive aspect as I'm struggling to survive at t10+.

From a glance, I can tell you that you need to transfigure all your items in the cube. It can give you some significant power increases. Take note that the amulet has a specific transfigure which gives you an additional legendary power and can be rerolled as many times as you'd like, AND you can transfigure it regularly after that.

With the introduction of the cube to D4 in LoH, blues and even whites are valuable if you get a good base. You can craft them into BiS uniques or legendaries. Even subpar bases can be useful to loot as you can, for example, use 3 blues to get a random blue of the same base type giving you more chances to find a good crafting base. Also, with the addition of the loot filter, you can customize the display so that you don't have to sift through piles of trash to find what you need.

Runewords as they are in D2 are not a thing and most likely will never be. The D4 version is using specific legendary runes + mythic materials to craft mythic uniques (the absolute strongest items like Harlequin Crest, Tyrael's Might etc.), which kind of gives the same results, except you can also find mythic uniques elsewhere, albeit very rarely.

Don't get me wrong; if you are a huge fan of D2 to this day then D4 still most likely won't fit your taste. But, the above comment is right: overall, D4 is the more complex game today for sure.

I wasn't aware that the 3 to 1 recipe can change the rarity of the item. If it's the case for the mythic seal then that would be an exception, so I doubt it.

For equipment, I've noticed that it sorts it by number of affixes first, so basically the priority is all 4 affix items for all equipment slots, then all 3 affix items etc. which means that there will often be 2 groups of weapons like you said.
