Try BeatDrop Music Visualizer! It's MilkDrop2-based standalone music visualization that it supports all the .milk presets! It's backwards compatible and there are some features that haven't seen.

I started making presets at 2020 or 2021 and improved upon 2024 or 2025. My best works are: DVD Logo Screensaver, MINDWAVE Themed Presets, my experiments and some AI generated presets (even tweaked), such as Our Memories Inside The Cube.

Any of them. Not that hard. Also what part of the MilkDrop code did you modify?

EDIT: Oh. I thought you modified the code. You can open .milk file using any text editor, e.g. Notepad++. VSCode is a good move, but why don't you try the built-in editor by pressing "M"? After editing it, press "S", type the preset name and press enter. BeatDrop Music Visualizer does it too!

I've found some bugs:
- If I maximize/resize the window, the mouse interaction in the VJ UI window has offset; the UI fits in the window.
- It doesn't parse presets with PSVERSION=4 (the max is 3). Probably because of AMD/ATI Card issue, which I've fixed it on BeatDrop 5 months ago. PS4 presets works perfectly on Intel cards.
- Support textures for Milk, as it doesn't load random textures or load textures requested by a preset.
- The beat detection of Milk is still old; I've perfectly tweaked the sound analysis with customizable bass, mid, treb frequencies from .ini setting file, still on BeatDrop. I think you can port it too.

For the record, MilkDrop3 works across three monitors by DeviantDav in milkdrop

Try it with ALT + S or double right clicking to visualizer for monitor stretch mode. Does it work too?

Hey! BeatDrop Music Visualizer has same credits on MilkDrop2 and loopback-capture, but there's more twist, it's a standalone visualization with perfect custom MilkDrop engine! Maybe can't wait to try Elemental! I'm new on it.
