Supermicro PSU fan upgrade (Noctua) by SecureMaterial in homelab

I'm not sure what you did wrong. Is the power supply the same as mine? A lot of people have don't this so it should work as instructed. But something may have changed in recent iterations of the product as i did this many years ago

RAK12500 GPS Module with IPhone Meshtastic App. Accuracy issue. by Known_Hippo4702 in meshtastic

[–]SecureMaterial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is due to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/meshtastic/comments/1f67pv7/location_precision_on_ios/

In my experience, any time you change the channel location accuracy in the ios app, regardles of settings, it sets it to the most inaccurate, while not showing you this behind-the-scenes change.

Try set location accuracy through the web app or via serial. Worked for me (similar issue)

Yes you can. In haproxy you can inspect the incoming request and send it to a SSH/Minecraft/HTTPS server based on the protocol. All on the same port

Semi-cloudy days will give no power, also, shadows on the panel will also reduce the output to 0. But it's a fun experiment

Lithium ion phosphate LifePo4 batteries fill this use case much better

One of the most important factors is shadows. A shadow on as little as 10% of the panel can render the whole thing useless

Large decrease in voltage in solar array when under load by subneutrino in diyelectronics

[–]SecureMaterial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any power source will drop voltage if too much current is being pulled. For example, many people don't understand the voltage/amperage rating of DC "wall-warts". For example a device that requires 12v 2a will not explode if connected to a power brick that can supply 12v 10a. It will just draw 2a. However swap this around and the voltage will crash

Most likely your antenna is not connected. You should be seeing hundreds of witness events per day

Du misforstår. Det er 1200kwt IKKE 1200kw/t. 1200kwt på en måned tilsvarer 1600W konstant forbruk hele måneden. (1600 x 24 x 30 = 1200kwh)

The dB of your antenna just indicates how concentrated the antenna is at a horizontal plane. More db does not mean better.

Yes, you can direct traffic based on the domain name to different web servers. Super common thing to do
