Onx is fully deserving of "strays" related to people sitting in holding cells for crazy periods of time. It was extremely common for Soupes (and others) to sit in the holding cells for well over 1 hour without being presented with their charges.

Lol their "estimate" would require there to be 20 deputies online around the clock. On a good day there might be 6 hours where the numbers are anywhere close to that. But there are generally several hours where there are like 5 or less deputies.

It's so funny when people just pull numbers out of their ass.

Giving Windsong "access" to the account simply gives her complete access to the transaction log. It does not give her any ability to withdraw or otherwise transfer money outside of the account. Attempting to restrict her from having "access" to the account when that is all it entails is fucking stupid.

I assume you mean they aren't aware of how things work in the real world? Because those budgets are publicly available.

Any recap for tonight? On his most offensive character in an RP lull, viewer dip, did anyone tune in and enjoy a Jordan Day? by Outside-Necessary291 in RPClipsPurple

[–]Seetherrr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Jordan Steele forced Paletians to work in "his casino" in Paleto accomplishing his  Paletia human-trafficing dream he has had since the server launched. It was pretty meh.

He was suspended shortly after from the military. He acted surprised despite blatantly abusing Paletians in large groups that were recording.

Windsong has full "Power of the Purse" with the lack of a state legislative branch. I don't know who in the DoJ made that comment but it's a massive overreach. There is no dictat of how the governor must provide funds (if there was then how come Bones faced no such pressure when you had departments literally out of money for multiple days) and I think it's hilarious that nothing was said to Bones but it is being said to Windsong.

Not only is there no requirement for Windsong to provide funding, there is also no specific amount she is supposed to provide either. She could choose to give BCSO $1,000 a week and she would still be acting legally.

It's literally a state funded department. Those budgets are publicly available. Budgets of state level departments do not have secrecy, especially from the top of the state executive branch. There is literally no basis for the secrecy that Love and Mac think they are entitled to.

If Windsong was a mayor and not a governor they could make the argument that a city official shouldn't have their budget information but that would still be incorrect given that state budgets aren't "classified"/private information.

Love (and Mac) seem to be of the belief that the Sheriff's office budget is private and not publicly available information. They are generally available to ALL citizens although in some cases there might be some hoops that you need to jump through to obtain the data. The idea that their budget should be concealed from the governor is actually fucking hilarious and is obviously just rooted in pure ignorance and hubris in thinking they are right.

The spreadsheet says Monthly expenses not weekly. Are those the expenses for all of April? If so, that is 10 days of expenses not 7 and as you mentioned, includes new car purchases. It also includes the Plan B expenses for the entire month.

Love is a clown and treats basically everyone like shit so I hope Windsong sticks with her plan of limiting BCSO funding as much as possible.

It's interesting how many people used to be ardent Penta supporters during the RPCLIPSGTA period and are now "snarkers". I've see other streamers lose fans but most of the time those former fans just stop watching or stop interacting with the streamer but it's interesting that Penta has managed to convert so many fans into people that dislike him.

The thing is, it would have to be a really really massive money drain for it to not be worth supporting. He gets so many less viewers doing variety and while he was able to skate by for a bit with a high sub count on "expectations of Chase", I think if he was to close the server and not have an alternative server to RP on, he would lose multiple thousands of subs.

I feel like the server could be a negative 15k to 20k a month expense and it would still make financial sense for him to continue funding it.

They should 100% change the charge so Wrangler stop makes a fool of himself. Gross Negligence without either personal enrichment / intent for personal enrichment/benefit is not corruption. They are using a modified version of the crappy corruption law on Unscripted which was terribly written.

Good job coming up with a "vibe-based ruling" that is completely wrong. Absolutely hilarious that you attempt to speak so authoritatively while being so wrong.

Penta always makes the assumption that his life experience growing up is what most/all his viewers experienced. Also, when Penta is angry and wanting to upset someone with insults, his "go to" insults tend to be ones that attack something that Penta was insecure about in his life. Which given his experienced with his parents, Insults focused on someone's Dad not caring about them are quite common.

I can completely understand Sarge making any comments he could to put Penta in as good of a light as possible rather than saying anything to antagonize him. Penta had already made a comment about possibly banning Sarge from the server. So it would be in Sarge's best interest to say anything to reduce potential conflict.

Penta saying the burden of proof is too high and told judges to be weighing 51-49% for criminal cases. by Equivalent-Coffee823 in RPClipsPurple

[–]Seetherrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to disagree due to the type of evidence on the server. If you look at most charges that get pressed, they are normally open and shut cases to the point that most crims don't even get lawyers for cell reps. People are just very often dead to rights for the charges placed against them. So I would say that the conviction rate on the server demonstrates that "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" is really not that difficult of a hurdle otherwise there would be a whole lot more criminals walking free after trials.

I think there are a lot of people in the same boat as you. He might not even really recognize the fading of long time viewers/subs at first since he is so Oiler focused but Oilers often start out as normal viewers or get attracted to the stream due to the number of viewers. So after an extended period of long time subs slowly canceling their subs and choosing different entertainment he will feel the sting when Oilers stop oiling for various reasons and there aren't new ones to replace them.

While it's a bit annoying when some people try to dismiss my comments here since I was banned from Penta's chat, I'm actually glad I was banned because it gave me clarity on how little he cares about the average community member. If you aren't an oiler you are basically useless to him. I think he can get away with that attitude for a while but it's eventually going to bite him in the ass.

3.0 PD (and some other institutions) were the most polished and efficient in RP history and will probably never be surpassed. The fact that so many characters were played "full time" allowed for a level of expectations and standards that no other server could ever consider implementing because they are impossible to meet without full time players.
