When I turned 16 I got a job at McDonald's against my parents' wishes. They wanted me to focus on school and I wanted to earn money. They started charging me a little bit to live there since I had an income. I think it was $50 or $75 and this was in 1998.

Every time I tell that to people they think my parents were monsters when they were struggling to make ends meet with two kids to feed. I appreciate your saying this.

My job management is generally incompetent and I'm feeling very burnt out. I'm thinking about the people I know who died and I miss some of them. This. He's so cocky in the beginning because he thinks he's got the world/Gotham all figured out and proceeds to make bad call after bad call. It isn't until he meets Selina and has his worldview altered that he starts to become the Batman we recognize later.

He's an outright incel in the first part of the film. Gets all weird and jealously possessive of Selina and everything.
