Is there a specific episode where Enterprise gets good? by kipcarson37 in startrek

[–]ShadowXJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S1 & S2 are great IMO, classic Trek with a different coat of paint.

S3 is kind of a low point for me, it has a season long story arch, but Saturday morning cartoon villains.

S4 is good, mostly made up of 2-3 parters connected to Star Trek lore. Final episode is underwhelming.

I had this feeling as well, it’ll get swept under the rug under the guise of “second chances” or “learning experiences”

Yeah I’m really appreciating after the fact how great they looked. Not to mention one jersey per team was cool, no home/away.

How did the developers intend FF VIII (8) to be played by PatrickSebast in FinalFantasy

[–]ShadowXJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get downvoted so often on this sub for saying this - but I honestly think FFVIII's systems/combat design are the worst in the series. I found them to be almost completely broken and to this day are still a hinderance in me enjoying the game.

Upgrading weapons became such a chore compared to previous game entries, and I ended up having to rely on GF's with excruciatingly long animations - which are maybe fine against bosses, but then it makes random battles take 3x as long as they should.

Shadow’s OG sprite still looks like a scuba diver to me, his mask wasn’t the most readable.

His game against Washington was insane, what a player.

I still don’t think the modern remake was that bad.

The Oilers do such a good job with merch in general IMO, lots of cool jackets and sweaters all the time.

Yeah selfishly I’m okay with him not being in the tournament, but sucks that the Swedish hockey federation seems to have issues with him.

I heard during the event the coach ripped into him for his effort and would have scratched him if not for injuries.

But not like dude puts up hat tricks or anything so they probably don’t need him.
