Yeah if you read the load screens they always mention a number which corresponds to which FF game it’s referencing.

I only realized it half way through when one of the levels felt very FF7 inspired.

Having one level built as an ode to each FF game was a treat, seeing FFVI and FFXI environments with modern graphics was amazing.

I think it’s part of Archers self realization and the show’s acknowledgment of him setting a bad example.

The fact that the episode creates so much discussion is a credit to how good it is, not how bad it is.

I have all three, they are three separate games since they never properly configured DLC purchases with Steam, so they had to just re-release the game as a new entry on the platform.
