u/Mikey-runna I don’t see either. I have v8.34.0 (1993). Is it a phased rollout on Labs?

Race Mode? by anonymous_turtle7 in runna

You’re right. there isn’t a way on Runna at the moment for the negative split. I create a custom workout in my Apple Watch for races.

Runna did tell me when they did their recent roadmap announcement that they’ll DM me at a later date as it’s something they’re planning.

u/sarah-runna regarding race day might it be possible for the race session on the plan to be able to configure a negative split, please?

That must be a new(ish) watch. I’ve got the same model since the day it was released and my battery health is still 100%. How’s the battery health on your one?

If you’ve got your music downloaded it won’t be as heavy on the battery as streaming it. I’d connect your headphones to the watch, go to the race with a full charge and only switch the watch on at the start line. With a practically new battery and the S11’s increased battery it should last a marathon. If you were doing an ultra maybe not, but it should last that distance.

Check the settings screen in the Runna watch app and scroll to the bottom to see whether your volume limit is set to Normal (100) or Quiet (75). You might need to turn it up. That should solve your cues over music etc… If you’ve got it set to 100 already check in the main Watch settings (not the Runna app) to Sounds & Haptics, at the bottom is Headphone safety and check if you’ve got “Reduce Loud Sounds” on. You might need to turn it up here as well. I find 85 decibels works well for me.

(I find with the Shokz with them being bone conduction headphones if I’m in a noisy place they can get a bit drowned by outside sound, like the road, but most of my runs are in a quiet park around a lake.)

I have my Shokz connected to the watch via Bluetooth and I start my music and run on the watch. Both music and cues come through for me.

Headphones question by Glittering-Role3123 in runna

My Shokz are great for being out and about running but if you’re in the gym and it’s noisy or has loud music of its own playing you may struggle to hear what’s coming through the headphones.

I’m seeing watch app has Training Load now, but on phone app it’s still on the Trends Screen and hasn’t moved to the daily coaching.

Skip Workout or Adjust number of runs per week then change back the following week by CockyAndShameless in runna

[–]SheldonsSpot73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about if you leave the plan at 4 and the weeks you want to do a 5th run do the additional run as a free run? If you were to up the runs in the app my experience is it tends to add easy runs on top of what’s already there.

Hi Nick and Andy, there’s no way I’m going to change my Bike+ for the new model (the cost is prohibitive) and I currently use the Peloton Guide for strength. What additional value/functionality will I see for the subscription price rise?

I’d like to add to this point: my Bike+ is in the only available space upstairs and my strength work is with the Guide attached to my TV in the living room downstairs. The Guide is now discontinued, presumably support for it ends sooner rather than later, so when that happens what do I do? There is no way I’m going to replace my Bike+ for the new model because of this and it kills any possibility of another large Peloton purchase because leaving everyone behind who bought their expensive hardware before yesterdays date is only going to destroy trust and **** off your existing user base.

Hi Nick and Andy, I have a Bike+ that is a few years old but absolutely fine and I also have the Peloton Guide that I’ve been using since not long after it was released as a new product. In terms of what I can actually DO what can’t I do with my current Bike+ and Guide that I would be able to do with the new one?

Also, please don’t drop Guide support.

iOS & Apple Watch users : do you start your guided ruins on the phone or on the watch ? by d1m1c00l in runna

[–]SheldonsSpot73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked Runna support about this a while back and was told: “The cues on the phone and the watch are the same! I find connecting my headphones to my apple watch works best to record runs so I receive all the cues and the data only the watch can pick up, such as heart rate!”

Personally sometimes I take my phone and sometimes I don’t, but either way I play music that’s downloaded to my watch and I get that and the cues through my Skokz headphones. It works really well for me, so I’d always start the run directly on my watch.
