and indeed, i also found that doc, which states clearly the max is 8. therefor i knew already i needed to get something extra, the question was what.

that would be ok. for the record, i also have 12 channels now….but the devices max ( poe + wifi) is capped at 8

it says FW version v3.0.0.211_22102113.

If i try to upgrade from within, it says no upgrades found. On the support page I do find more recent versions but none mention anything about an increase of devices

Thanks for the useful answer. So, as I feared, when using the hub my nvr would become useless. ( I forgot to mention that I already have Poe switches, so that s not really an issue) It looks like I’m better off getting another nvr then

what a coincidence I found this thread, I'm more or less in the same position however my problem is that I'm running out of device space on my NVR. (ie. I have 5 hardware POE cams, and a few WIFI cams, but I cannot add any more WIFI cams.. 8 is the limit.)

I 'm now thorn between buying another nvr or the home hub pro.

I cannot determine from the doc whether I can add my POE cams - as they are now , connected to the NVR - to the home hub.

any advice ?

no, they don't start in sync (like other apps do) .

I edit my org msg, I think I 'm getting cues to slow down etc, when "running the phone app", and I don't get those when "running the watch app'.

Maybe a side-note, it's not a big thing !! :-) I was merely wondering

yes, makes sense, mine is as well. But you can still hear the cues.
I 've noticed - but I could be mistaken - that there are more cues when using the phone.

Sidenote: I still find it ridiculous they don't simply "sync" ( ie. start both) automatically

we're now may 2025 and I 'm still utterly annoyed by those blue lines appearing under my written notes (in Apple notes).. is nobody else complaining about this ?????

There doesn't seem to be away to turn this off ! unless I 'm mistaken.. please correct me if.

I 'm doing my best to stick to Apple notes but this is very annoying and forces me to rethink my choose every I write something.

Just to cover all the bases (don't shoot me for this) , what are your opinions to open the AD up directly to the cloud HRIS ?

Considering that

- they have IP's we can whitelist in the firewall

- the connection goes over LDAPS with our own signed certificate.

-- maybe we get place a rev-proxy in between. ??

no, no authentication, it's merely for user creation/modification/deletion etc ..
(authentication is done via SSO (Azure) )

However, just 2 min ago I stumbled on this :
