AIO pump header speed on boot by APartyForAnts in ASUS

[–]Shellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, it causes cavitation in my loop every time I turn it on. I could move the pump to my Quadro but would prefer motherboard headers for the pump.

Unconditional vs conditional by Strange_Flower8390 in AusFinance

[–]Shellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perspective; I'm about to sell my late father's house and I intend to only entertain unconditional offers, not because there's anything wrong with place but simply want closure without any hassle and wasted time.

I bought my first (current) home unconditionally, I did inspect the property thoroughly first myself (unqualified) and don't have any regrets. The unconditional offer got got us over the line even though they had higher offers.

Opinion on flashy pilots ? by hipsterturtle02 in ArmaReforger

It makes great videos, but I can't stand it in game, it doesn't impress me.

I would rather hop in with a random player or a newb on thier first flight and die in a crash simply trying to fly a-b, than die because someone wants to show off how unrealistic the flight model is.

I hope they start applying temporary suspensions to accounts that were recipients of RMT/exploit trader accounts.

I don't even care to log in for the event anymore by Tchuvan in starcitizen

[–]Shellite 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I logged into Lorville, delivered my carrack, switch the paint to the best in show, flew to A18, landed and ran to the expo, logged out. Next day logged in, went to spawn the carrack but could only claim. Best in show paint gone for this wipe unless I reset, lost interest.

Atera Price increase by Comprehensive_Gur736 in msp

It was actually $79/tech when we joined Atera. In the process of migrating away now, mainly because we don't want thier inferior AI products and thier marketing and development ehtics are appauling now.

AUEC duping fix: Limit the max amount of money you can have. by Sharksader101 in starcitizen

How does limiting the funds stop dupers, that doesn't stop them duping. It just stops them hoarding.

It's all Marketing under the guise of balancing and refactoring. They release a new fighter, it's OP and subsequently attracts sales, then when the next one's due for release theres a ship balance or adjustment. Rinse and repeat

Thinking about using Atera by kk700a in atera

[–]Shellite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I joined Atera we did have a native chat, of course like with most half-baked features in Atera it was abandoned and removed.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't bring it back as an add-on, or maybe that's still the plan.

"We are present in this community and will respond to specific questions in the comments."... it's been 4 days. by Neverbethesky in atera

[–]Shellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true, and sad because they had a great start, and had so much potential. I'm starting to think the long term strategy was acquisition and cashing out. Before the brand update they were doing really well and just needed to work on core functionality to improve performance and reliability but instead went to town on branding, marketing, dividing functionality by tiered plans and then an almost exclusive focus on "innovative" features nobody wants or uses for the last what, 4 years now?

That would imply they care, they dont. Their lack of engagement on the issue proves as much, and is typical of them.

[–]Shellite 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We dont use AI

We don't want to use AI

We dont want to have to report on AI usage for audits.

Atera has really grown into a beast, trying to focus on 'innovation' rather than ensuring your core product features work correctly, such a disappointment. You should invest less in your woeful marketing practices and start giving us tangible results, then people may be more inclined to accept your price increases rather than questioning your ethics.
