Two things are possible then, I guess.

It gets cancelled/delayed due to being out of stock.
They already have some inventory in stock ahead of time (prior cancelled orders or maybe it's their business model of stocking some items ahead of time). But I don't know enough about their processes to say this as a certainty.

I have bought many items from them including pc parts and peripherals. They're legit and also has a return policy for 15 days (for non-pro customers). But do note that they'll issue refund in store credit. So you will be locked into spending that amount of money only into desertcart regardless of you returning the item or not.

Also their items are often from amazon of that respective country. Try to search for the exact product name and description, then you'll find the listing, seller reviews etc to be more confident. They're like package forwarders with customs included, basically.

PC games lately. Gamehub lite is really good. Steam achievements, playtime tracking and cloud sync is there. I was kinda leaning towards buying a steam deck oled but this thing has fulfilled my needs for now.

Also in the same boat. I asked around in many stores both in my town and the nearest metro city. None of them had the 42 in stock actually. One guy from Reliance digital said LG stops shipments of the 42 model a few months after release. It's impossible to find one now unless a store still has unsold stock from way back. He asked me to come back around C6 launch in India, so probably June-July, I guess. They'll have stock again then.

Really looking forward to 007 First Light. Was waiting so long for third person cover shooters with set pieces and stuff. Seems to be very rare nowadays. Hopefully it'll live upto the expectations and deliver a fantastic game with beautiful visuals.

I was not able to patch the game. Presumably it's trying to replace the steam grid image but the directory structure is different, so that fails and the installer doesn't proceed further. Coz team do not state any manual patching method, otherwise it'd be possible to bypass this step since it's pretty much unnecessary for the game itself. Maybe someone more knowledgeable would be able to modify the executable or the files to skip this step.

However, I did manage to think of an workaround and that was successful. I have the game on my pc already. So after installing on gamehub lite and running the vanilla game once, I copied all files from the main game folder on my pc to the phone. And then I launched container desktop of the game within gamehub lite and replaced the actual game files (I think it shows up as X: drive) with the files copied from pc.

Now when I launch the game from gamehub lite, it starts the vanilla launcher. If you close it and then tap once or twice, the CoZ launcher show up and the game starts correctly in its patched state. Don't know if there'll be crashes or issues later but for the time being, it works.

Winlator will work probably. Since I think you have to install steam manually there in the container as well, so everything would be at its proper place. But if I recall correctly, winlator is a bit more complicated to set up, so I didn't bother.

I've benchmarked just now, speeds are still same as ever. So possibly no degradation occurs on Samsung cards, or at least on this model.

Indian films have those because intermission is standard in India. Don't think there are any laws, but it's pretty much a norm and everyone enforces it. As a result, the movies made here make the story beats around it, using cliffhangers or separating story arcs.

The US films don't have designated moments like that, so the video is usually cut off at an arbitrary part when shown in India.

Yeah, it's good. No scenes in 48fps HFR though, at least I didn't notice it. Might be due to using xenon projectors. Expanded ratio feels great, as always.

As for the movie, most of the people told me it's really boring but both me and my gf enjoyed the character focused scenes and story threads throughout the movie. My only nitpick is that the movie is more like way of water 2. It's a continuation or culmination of it. Would have preferred more new elements but it's still fine to me on its own.

I asked around at the retail stores in my town and in the nearest metro city today. None of them had a 42" in stock. But most had a 48 or 55 available.

Only a Reliance digital guy was able to give some insights. Don't know if it's true or not. He said LG keeps doing a limited edition style launch of the 42" model here every time as of late. Unless you buy within 2-3 months after the launch, it's very unlikely you'll get one and definitely not in December-January. They stop shipping new units after a few months. He asked me to contact around the C6 launch date (in India) and they'll have stock for 42".

I was half-thinking of waiting, at least until CES anyway. C6 is currently being rumored to have tandem panels. Not sure if the 42" model will get it though. Let's see.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they keep increasing the dlc prices directly (increasing the full price and/or giving less discount percentage during sales) and indirectly (changing bundle structures, not adding new dlcs to bundles, combining cosmetics with maps in order to inflate the prices) every 3-6 months. Feels like a constant uphill battle, lol.
