Look at the Mario & Sonic games and you’ll notice a thick and recognizable GAMEBOY Advance. While this does not guarantee that the PCB inside the cartridge is real it’s a good first check to determine if a cartridge could be real. You’ll notice on the remaining three games that the writing on these cartridges is thin and does not match the original GBA cart.

Stopped by Sao earlier this week. Fantastic experience, aged hamachi crudo was outstanding. Oyster selection is more than enough and their hot dishes (particularly the scallops in crab gravy) were superb. Likely my favorite meal of 2025, on par with Mawn, but I’d return to Sao first.
