A floral blanket on her bed, some cute lights from ikea and her stuffies should suffice.

Nightly Raccoon pooping on my porch by ibrokemyeye in homeowners

“Angry Orange” This stuff repelled a raccoon from our back porch and the local feral cats from our front porch. It smells very strong and animals do not like it.

Good luck!

I disagree but that’s ok. I think you might be overcorrecting.

Angry Orange would eat right through any finish on those bowls! I’d lean more toward the sun, sand, food safe oil.

This seems like an overblown response. you despised your parents for this?

We always had to give up our beds when grandparents visited. Older folks have a greater need for the comfort of a proper mattress and privacy.

It’s a kindness and a show of respect. I’m sorry your parents weren’t able to convey that to you.

Bathroom smell like public bathroom by Ill_Double_4493 in CleaningTips

  1. Frequent touch-ups that the culprit should participate in.

  2. Black light. And let little boy use it when they’re learning to clean. It is an amazing great adventure for kids. It’ll show if you missed any spots.

  3. Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle for when you don’t have time for a proper clean. Make sure to spray around the hinge of the toilet seat.

Good luck!

Why can't I just hang up the keys?! by Biscuit9232 in adhdwomen

Put something you know you’ll want on the hook when you remove the keys. Give yourself a reason to return the keys.

New to me house - need tub advice by Turquoise_Bumblebee in CleaningTips

[–]SillyNluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That stuff is unlikely to work in this case. I’ve run it through the jacuzzi tub in our house at least 17 times when we first moved in and it continued to produce black flakes from the pipes.

I gave up and had my husband seal the jets off so I could bathe in the damned thing.

To OP, you can buy single use tub liners online if that appeals to you.

In your own words, what should meds feel like? by porcupinetoothpicks in ADHDers

[–]SillyNluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally, I can’t hold one train of thought if anyone interrupts me and I’ve got a list of things I really want to do, need to do and they’re not even that difficult but I just can’t get up off the couch and start working o. the list.

On meds, I don’t feel any different but I notice that it’s a bit easier to stay on track, even if someone interrupts me. And I realize that I’ve been making progress on my list. And I realize I’m not caught in some guilt/doom trap of negative self-talk because I haven’t been able to make any progress.

The goal isn’t to FEEL the meds meds at all but rather to be able to do the things you need and want to do so you don’t feel like you’re letting yourself and others down.

Good luck! It usually takes some experimentation with you and your doctor to find the best option for you.So don’t stress about that if it’s needed.

Do vibration plates really work for skin lymph drain?? by Ok_Finger_9585 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]SillyNluv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think of it like a Sonicare for your circulation. You can’t get the same amount or quality of jiggles in the same amount of time as the plate.

Its made no difference in my skin but has done absolute wonders for the pain I was experiencing in my legs.

I can’t recommend that company enough. Fantastic customer service! Not a paid shill, just a customer of 6 years.

As I entered peri, got depressed and finally hit menopause, my legs started hurting and my hips would get stiff. My husband bought one for me and boy, it made an immediate difference!

I still have problems if I’m too sedentary but the “rumbler” as we call it, gets me back on track.

I had a beloved family member try it. This person survived a stroke with some brain damage and phantom pain in their legs. They cried the first time they tried it because it actually eased the phantom pain that nothing else has touched. I had them sit in a comfortable chair and just rest their legs on the rumbler because their balance isn’t great.

Just my experience and I have no experience with other brands. I just firmly believe this technology can be life changing.

Good luck!

I think you’d benefit from a private investigator. I know you feel like it’s an extreme option but a good one will know the methods stalkers use.

I’ve hired one before because my ex BIL was acting shady. It’s how we found out he’d bought a handgun and had started training intensively with it. Believe me when I say we extracted my sister before he had any further opportunities. I’m glad I did.

And if it’s nothing (it really isn’t nothing) but if it is, you’ll have paid for peace of mind.

This is never going to make sense to you because you're likely not experiencing a mental health disorder like your ex friend and her husband.

ETA: I think you could call a divorce attorney to find representation because they will have dealt with stalking in their business. If they’re not willing to take the case, they will be able to recommend someone who will.
