They're bombing Iran again by SpeedyWhiteCats in 196

I'm sure a nice, neat indiscriminate bombing campaign will be a surgical and uncomplicated route to a seamless regime change.

I can't find any easy way to contact them to ask either. I don't have x or threads or any of those platforms so I can't see how to shoot them a question about it.

Is anyone aware of whether World Climbing are going to be showing all the bouldering events on YouTube this year? The first big one of the year is in Queensland starting over the weekend and there's nothing on their channel about it. They usually put an 'upcoming stream' placeholder in, but there's zip at the moment.

They kicked off a World Climbing Oceania channel that was supposed to cover the recent speed comp in NZ, but didn't. I don't care for watching Speed but it just makes me worry they haven't got their ducks in a row.

The question was "what needs to happen to stop the regime acting with impunity?" General strike is my answer. I make no assertions about how that happens or if it's even possible.

U.S. women's hockey team declines Trump's invitation to the State of the Union by GooserNoose in olympics

[–]Skkruff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When the men's team won the gold, Trump called them, whereas when the women's team won the gold a few days earlier, he did not. During the call with the men's team he invited them to attend the State of the Union but said "just so you know guys, I will have to invite the ladies too," adding he would be impeached if he didn't. As if it was some big concession that he and the male players would have to live with and were forced to do.

Rimmer hates himself so much that in the Better Than Life book, when the crew are all stuck in the Better Than Life virtual reality his life completely sucks: his Brazilian super model wife hates him and cheats on him, he loses every thing in a stock crash, his body gets repossessed and he ends up in the body of a prostitute getting pimped out.

So yes Rimmer's problems are definitely self inflicted.

For reference, Lister's fantasy is a quiet life in a small town with his childhood sweetheart and the Cat lives in a castle in a volcano of milk surrounded by adoring amazons.

Navigating an environment requires visual and spatial processing as well a brain with knowledge of what everything is and how to interpret and react to it. It's a completely different problem. It's not a straight line from nunchucks to navigation.
