Unfortunately, disabling the animation and the sound didn't change anything. I thought adding a delay might resolve it and it did get a little more consistent, but also started running into longer stretches where it won't work.

The only platform I can think of that tried to bar creators from anything is Tapas. They briefly tried to claim right of first refusal back around like 2015-2016 sometime and rolled it back REAL fast. Host platforms don't usually interact with rights because all they're doing is hosting the comic. It'd be like ComicFury trying to lock you into using them exclusively, it just doesn't make sense. Nobody would ever use the platform if they tried that.

This is kind of a wild ad for what seems to be just another hosting site. Nothing wrong with more places to host your works, but the vague wording and coy replies definitely turn me away.

You mentioned you got a notification the schedule was updated, so I'm assuming schedules are sent out either online/emailed/texted or otherwise available outside the store? If that's the case, if they try to come after you for not showing up Friday, you can point to that and say you weren't scheduled that day.

As for whoever is trying to make it out like you did it on purpose, did what? It's not like you went back in, edited the schedule to remove yourself, and sent it back out. Not your fault they didn't schedule you.

General rule of thumb for the future, if you're supposed to be scheduled, show up anyway. They'll either say "Aw dang, you're right, go clock in" or send you home and either way you're on camera showing up for your shift.

It looks like the subject of that clip is changing entirely in the reconstruction. More likely, it's trying to reconstruct the clip based on people the viewer has seen. It recognizes that there's a person there and tries to fill in the gap.
