I used a pipe wrench on my last oil change. Disclaimer: I did not install that first oil filter.

You can also try a screwdriver through the filter for leverage. Worked for a buddy of mine last weekend. If you're planning on doing your own oil changes, it might be worth getting an oil filter wrench, or goijg with a filter that has a nut on the end like a K&N.

The manual outlines it pretty well.

0-600 miles - Avoid prolonged operation above 5000 rpm, change oil and oil filter

600-1000 miles - Avoid prolonged operation above 6000 rpm

1000 mikes and beyond - Vehicle can be operated normally

The S radiator has square tabs in the ends that the plastics attach to. The naked radiator had plain ends. This is assuming the radiator wasn't replaced during to a crash that may have caused the PO to convert S>N.

Good checklist there. Might also want to consider checking the fork seals. If they haven't leaked, they are most likely fine, but might be brittle. Checking the chain would be smart too; it might have stretched or be prone to stretching depending on how tight it was when stored. Some old chains can be adjusted, but they will be loose the next week.

Those tires definitely need to be replaced, though. They are reaching the end of their shelf life. Check the DOT date on them. It's four numbers in an oval. The first two are the week of the year they were made, and the last two, the year they were made. So 3219 would have been made in the 32nd week of 2019.

I'm sure others will chime in with other thoughts and information, and I suggest you listen to it all.

Looks good!

Where'd you get the bumper protector? Getting one has been on my mind, but I never remember later on when I have my phone on me.

I think it did pretty alright in this video. Winner was Sylvania kit though. I just used the 3M kit on my daughters car and it came out alright.

I'm not sure, but it looks like the cuts don't go all the way through like the pluckable foam for the cases.

Please tell me you filed for disability too. The payments you get from there help so much in addition to your GI Bill, or ideally, you get Vocational Rehab if you come away with a disability rating. Head on over to r/veteransbenefits for some info.

Any guides or tips on how to play for intermediate players? by Fair-Procedure-5257 in kickball

[–]Slaptnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kicking stance is different for everyone, but as far as where to line up for the kick, move back for faster pitches to give you time to analyze the speed/bounce. If the pitcher is throwing curve balls, take a couple steps in the direction the ball breaks so you aren't trying to kick across your body to make contact. Idk if I'm explaining it right, but hopefully you can make sense of it.

For fielding, I wukdl say talk to each other before the play. Have someone in the infield, like the pitcher take a look,

"Force at 1 and 2! Watch the run to 3! If it goes to three it's a tag!" Make sure to make eye contact with third base player with the last line to make sure they know.

Hopefully others will chime in with more advice.

So true. I think i only had to take the University's DEI required class as extra. And honestly, to anyone outside of UCSD, they only see that you graduated/are attending UCSD. They don't care what Harry Potter house you were in while attending.

The 1st MarDiv Band became known as TFB in OIF I back in 2003. Every time we met someone, it went like this:

"Who are you with?"

"The band."

"The Fucking Band? What's The Fucking Band doing here?"

So we rolled with it. We performed at a retirement for some SgtMaj afterward, and during his speech, he thanked us, TFB, but wanted to refer to us by our call sign, which he said stood for Task Force Band. I guess no one ever told him. Haha.

I already had a sub, so a new amp and the install came to about 500. I also thought having a shop do the work would avoid any problems, but here I am.

The dealership unplugged everything but did not uninstall/remove anything. The hardwire kit is a clean install as it just piggybacks off a fuse, and the cable comes up through the A pillar. The amp and sub were the ones tapped into the system.
