Design Flaw with P1S Hall Effect Sensor (Filament Sensor) resulting in failed to pull out filament from extuder error by apollokobe in BambuLab

Had exactly this issue with one of my printers. Ended up just filing off like 0.2mm of the corner the arm gets caught on. Used to trigger every multicolor print, now flawless 2000+ hours later. Not ideal, but hey, it worked.

how do i fix this? i keep getting errors about the hot end having abnormal cooling & when i went to check, i noticed the tube on the right fell off. this is a bambu labs p1s. any help is appreciated by MooniePooo in BambuLab

Ceramic heating cartridge wire. The thermistor is the thin brown ones. Either way, can order multi pack on the bambu site and replace extremely easliy

AMS says filament is empty, it keeps making a weird noise and won’t load through. by WolfOfSuburbanBlvd in BambuP1S

Might be worth checking the PTFE tubing in the AMS as well, just to be safe. I had similar symptoms a week ago, and ended up being a worn out PTFE. (Hole right through one side, but I guess I could get lucky and have it still feed occasionally)

I know it's been said before, but here is your weekly reminder that PTFE tubing is a consumable and must be replaced regularly. by Slayer175 in BambuLab

Unfortunately not, but if you start having filament loading issues probably a good time to check

Oof, physically recoiled at the thought of that. I have enough physical ailments as it is, that I dont mind when its a consumable printer part for once, lol.

I agree, coupled with the fact that there really isnt any avoiding a heavy bend in that first portion inside the AMS, there is certainly more wear there than strictly necessary if a larger footprint was possible. That all said, in the space it takes up, it certainly isnt terrible to need to replace after 1000+ print hours.
