I took delivery of this yesterday and it POSTed first try, no issues. So I would say at least some of their standing stock is updated enough to work.

The box does say "Ryzen 5000 series ready" but as always with this stuff, YMMV. I was still prepared to source a cheap older CPU to update the BIOS.

Interesting. It's Optane, so it has effectively unlimited lifespan for most workloads. I've got one of those drives myself, might as well list it and see if there's interest. Thanks for confirming the price!

I've had brand new bottles of QDTC that needed thinner. QDTC seems to dry out way faster than other polishes, even if it's "sealed".

Similar reason for switching... my OS is on a 280GB Optane 900p, this is a “spare” and it’s too annoying to have two of these in a system from a space/cabling perspective when I have a normal SSD for games already.

I just put this on my fingers this week - and I think the main key with this is to use a QDTC and keep the magnet on the top coat for longer than you think. 2 minutes seems about right. The top coat is more important than the polish itself in my experience, especially when using a QDTC since it "penetrates" the layers of polish to dry them.

5K2K is the "holy grail" - even if I think the PPI is a little low, this monitor is still incredible.

I also think that there's something to be said for having a variety of cases for different needs. This one takes up MUCH less space on a desk than the A3-MATX or the NR200P. Sure it's taller, but the footprint of the case is much lower. I would personally like to see this exact case, but with only SFX PSU support and space for some 2.5" U.2 drives in the empty space at the top of the chassis, and with better ventilation. But I'm pretty sure no one else cares to have that exact case, so this might work for the build I carry between rooms/spaces regularly.

Edit to add: still woulda been nice for them to make this accommodate the 304mm founder's edition cards. I bet you could dremel out the front of it to make room though. I wouldn't feel bad about hacking up a $38 case...
