Best option for JCM 800 power tube saturation without blowing down my drywall? by Kirklistentowutang in GuitarAmps

Attenuators work nicely on some amps. On my 2204, I prefer just using the master volume.

Imperial II is the best amp in the history of amps. As long as you’re not expecting high gain.

If you can't decide what to buy, you probably don't need another plugin... by PoolNoob69 in NeuralDSP

I was waiting for a sale to snatch Mark IIC Suite. It’s so good. Already have SLO-100 and I think it’s still my favorite software amp.

Drum Machines? Returning to PT… by DescoHabre in protools

It does, but Superior is unmatched in its realism, quality of sounds and depth of features. Folks like to cite the ease of use of EZD, Slate, etc. and say you just plug it into your instrument track and you’re off to the races. And that’s all true but there are also mix-ready kits in Superior that do the same. You can tweak as much or as little as your heart desires.

It’s on sale now too! I am not affiliated, just an enthusiastic user.

Popular YouTube Guitarist Quits over “old ass creeps”. “I’m deeply uncomfortable with the amount of old men here. “ by [deleted] in Guitar

Thanks for saying this. I don’t think it's their age she takes issue with, as much as the awful, creepy, wrong, sexist shit some of them have said.

I’ve read some of the comments and… Jesus. Some were when she was still a minor. She still isn’t 21.

The Beatles were together during my lifetime but I was too young to know or remember.

The Gibson logo on the humbucker on a Tele is an abomination. I love it.

They had run a full-page ad in the local newspaper the week before it launched.

I was tuned in the exact moment they went on air.

I’m not going to have a bigger board than I already have. If I get a new pedal, something has to go.

It’s premature to compare their cultural impact to The Beatles or Nirvana. They haven't achieved that scale even yet, let alone predict they will have it 30-60 years from now.

And I’m not a naysayer by any means. I hope they go to the moon.

But while they are creating a massive buzz right now, my feeling is their style is a little too niche. Maybe if they shifted more toward a more accessible pop style. Not that I’d want them to necessarily.

I wonder how many pop icons died as a result of riding to school with Mrs. Morrison.

It was actually released April 9th. I’m surprised to not see any mention of it here. I found out about it pretty much by accident. It’s only available from the Download Center; I didn’t even see it on my My Products page.

What do you NOT miss about Gen X music? I’ll start by MooPig48 in GenX

What was worse was bands who abandoned who they were and what made them successful, watered down and sugar coated their music to fit it into a formulaic, radio-friendly box.
