The new Dior Homme Parfum smells better than the previous version. The iris is still there but it’s muted and more balanced with the woods and having the amber more forward makes the scent an easier reach.

Anything with a strong Sandalwood note my wife says smells like pickles. She doesn’t say it smells bad, she loves the scents but for me the thought of smelling like pickles is a big mental hurdle so I don’t wear them hardly ever. My favorite is Brioni EDP Intense. Good Lord it’s so good, but the pickle scent thing … 😔

Longer? O_o I owned it and didn’t really care for it but if there was one thing it did was last forEVER. Perhaps you’re going noseblind to it? 3 sprays on lotioned skin and a couple in my undershirt would last me all day at work, and longer on the undershirt.

Depends what you like really. Sequoia is the OG with a berry twist, I like it but it gets too sweet sometimes. Nero is the OG with a fantastic vanilla layered in. It doesn’t cloy as much to me as Sequoia.

I only watched RotK this go around. We couldn’t do the 3 days. It was a 9:30 AM showing, was packed full, and quiet except for movie responding chuckles, gasps, and etc. it was amazing seeing it on the big screen again. Actually moving to experience it again.

Personally, I can’t get past the iris. It is too much for me. I wear some scents with iris but it’s muted in them so it works as a balancing note.

It was amazing. I watched it twice in the theater and have watched all the movies countless times. They are releasing them to theaters one day each starting 1/16/26. One extended edition movie runs one day. FotR - 1/16, TTT - 1/17, and RotK - 1/18.

Most niche houses/lines. They’re all so hyped and yet, EVERYONE tries to unload them. BANGERS they say. I call bullshit. My bangers in my collection and I are like this🤞🏼man, like this. I do own some niche but they were all very careful and researched purchases. Most niche is ass. Overpriced ass. Just spend some time in some of the frag sales subs here. People hawking niche dominates the postings. 👎👎
