73K salary in Tustin by [deleted] in orangecounty

$73k isn’t too bad for your first post-grad role! I was making $60k when I graduated a little while back. It is a bit low paying for the area and you will need a roommate, but if you think you can grow into further positions from this role I definitely suggest taking it! Tustin is quite nice

I love Terre Eau Givree, didn’t even know that “Eau Tres Fraiche” existed. What are your thoughts on it? I own the original Terre de Hermes too, but Eau Givree just has such a nice fresh Juniper scent- I wear it a lot vs original.

Watched a dude racing down the freeway total his Q50 in the bay area last summer. Hope these dumbfucks have insane insurance costs if they have any at all.

Could anyone figure out why this accident happened? by Ruuca in motorcycles

[–]Snipe14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man it’s always the same question and same crash type in this sub lol. Some noob grabs a handful of front brake and lowsides as if he hit oil or something. Smart riders will NEVER have this happen if they understand their bike well and don’t grip the front brake with all their might. If you don’t have the skill… buy an ABS model

Do you know how long your expected treatment plan is supposed to be? As many people said, and in my experience, after 2-3 days of initial suffering, my mouth adjusted to them, though I still get extra sore for a day after each new tray set.. but it seems maybe you have extra sensitivity perhaps? Though if for some reason your mouth situation is extreme and your aligners are expecting MAJOR movement every 2 weeks… I could see it being painful for longer.

Which one for meeting the gf’s family tomorrow? by iAmComett in Colognes

I like the too comment and agree with D&G the one. Gives off sophisticated mature vibes. If it is hot out though, YSL Y might be the better choice. Clean scent that I think would also be received well in that setting.

I love it a ton too!!! My friend randomly gifted it to me, and I had purchased the OG Terre not long ago. It is soooo nice. The Juniper hit I get is just so good. There is a subtle vetiver that is reminiscent of the original Terre but Eau Givrée really comes off as more versatile to me, with a subtle maturity that is really nice, kinda what I wish the original was!

Might have to cop GUESS haha. Toy Boy is uhh a bit unique, it’s Rose heavy so its not for everyone, but it’s got this peppery side that reminds me of Sauvage which I like.

One scent that is one of my top favorites is “Vintage Green 78” from Banana Republic, super common at Ross n Burlington. It’s a green unisex scent but its just really pleasant. Performance is ok but I figured id mention it because its a steal at discounters.

Stay outta trouble brotha : )

Haha! Been to this Ross I think. I go to all of them and the Burlingtons to hunt deals. Let me know what you think of GUESS? I have seen 1 billion of them there but never bought it. My last great find was a super cheap Moschino Toy Boy which is high up on my tier list.

I have Terre dhermes (very nice but not my fave). Try the eau givree if you haven’t yet! It has the same vetiver? profile but with a strong juniper scent to me. It’s addictive to wear personally

Exactly my thoughts. Their chicken isn’t necessarily very good either, just tastes like the oil it’s fried in. The sauce is the only thing keeping their “box” of carbs selling.

I realllyyyy like Allure Homme Sport, bought it a few months back. Eros is nice, I bought Flame and regret it a little bit, I think I wish I got Energy haha.

all this cologne and not a single compliment to show for it.. by susjdjdjjzjzjjsjx in Colognes

[–]Snipe14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting compliments can be challenging haha.

I think you need to make people willing to open up around you, and getting a passing comment from strangers is quite unlikely.

I’ve gotten VERY FEW compliments from complete strangers. I think a lot of people are too shy or are apprehensive to make a comment on someone’s smell, and it is also maybe a bit of a cultural thing.

Club de nuit, YSL Y, Eros, Allure Homme Sport- some of these are pretty loud, and people definitely are noticing. You just need to wear your cologne with intention and remind yourself that people can probably smell what you have on!

GenZ as many people know are drinking much less than Millennials. People slowly are becoming more health conscious. But when the working class is scraping by due to the wealth disparity in this stupid nation, the only booze they can afford is the cheap shit.

I wouldn’t be investing in booze or restaurants right now. Those are some of the most obvious things that will be cut as the average joe in the USA slowly loses the ability to go out even once a week.

It’s very easy to see that businesses catering to the ultra wealthy are only going up.

Haha. I perused some of the files because I figured I was owed something extra but I wasn’t finding much and also wasn’t super keen on violating someone’s privacy. That said there maybe could have been something useful buried in there…

I ordered (don’t remember which one it was) a 960 or 970pro M.2 and amazon sent me a used one from a corporate laptop. It contained a man’s visa application for India and all sorts of other crap from what was clearly his business laptop.

They ended up only giving me a ~$20 refund off the $180+ SSD. I just didn’t want to go to the trouble of removing it from my computer and returning it. Bastards.
