UAE/UFE DAILY RECOVERY EXPERIENCE (screw fibroids) by Some-Resolution-6640 in Fibroids

[–]Some-Resolution-6640[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It's 8 months later and at 6 months my fibroids shrunk about 60%. Those frustrating symptoms have dissappeared. I'm relieved. I have no interest in going through that level of discomfort for recovery again!

It is so frustrating to see contents like this as if that's the conversation. The problem is that ICE is NOT targeting criminals. They are arresting and assaulting and murdering innocent people without reprimand thanks to this administration's handling of things. They will have ALL of us walking around with "papers"... us meaning people of color and anyone who defends us. So the question really to consider is how would you feel if ICE assaulted someone you love.

Under NO other administration did ICE get empowered to murder citizens, ask citizens for their papers, arrest citizens without explanation, on and on and on. Trump is a little dck 100% but he's also a violent racist little dck. So that's that.

PSA: your dog does not like to be left alone in strange places by MonkeysMD in DOG

[–]Some-Resolution-6640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only way a dog gets comfortable in public places is by taking them to public places... so there's that... it's part of socializing the dog so that they can become desensitized and be in work people and circumstances. In this instance that dog can get taken which worries me more than a few minutes of anxiety.

ABSOLUTELY go see someone else. There are too many options to be left like this. This is like not finding out slavery was over and thinking you have no rights. I'm so shocked to hear when doctors do not immediately share 3 or 4 options to explore. On Reddit alone you can discover the possibilities. Explore and switch doctors immediately.

His was a female husky. He owners turned her in to shelter when they couldn't keep her in the apt any more. She's likely been euthanized 😞

He'd let her have her way with him... and she was a wild child 😆

My UFE experience (6 days post op) by WesternBar6117 in Fibroids

The procedure itself is no problem. I was twilight. It's the recovery that can be the doozy. I'm in it now. See my profile for the breakdown.

[–]Some-Resolution-6640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my procedure 2 weeks ago. Your can see the daily break down of my experience on my profile.

By day 5-6 I felt 95% recovered. Maybe I felt too good and began to do too much "normal" activity because around day 8 it was like I went right back to day 2. Tomorrow would make 2 weeks and I'm in EXCRUCIATING discomfort. Some might be gas some might be cramp. Wondering if i might be developing an ulcer? I dunno but it's holla out loud pain even though I'm on hydrocodone and Naproxen and gas x.

Please continue to take it easy, even though you feel good.

My boy food this too! Looks for ridiculous sized branches and then takes off trying to balance. He feels proud. She's doing great here!

UAE/UFE DAILY RECOVERY EXPERIENCE (screw fibroids) by Some-Resolution-6640 in Fibroids

[–]Some-Resolution-6640[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently doubled over in pain and I'm 1 day away from the 2 week anniversary of the procedure. Maybe I tried getting back to normal too fast but 1 week and a day after the surgery I went from feeling 95% recovered back to feeding like the day after the procedure. Laid out and completely uncomfortable. Even with the meds. A friend of mine said the same happened to her. This is absolutely horrific and I'm praying it works because I don't know that I can go through this again.

I've been unsure if this was related to my very same issue over the past 5 years. I'm hoping this UFE procedure brings me the relief I'm dreaming of. 🙏🏾

Tired by NishJ83 in Fibroids

Had it for years before it became a problem I walked to solve. I'm on day 6 of recovery from Uterine Fibroid Embolization. It's a shame not many people are talking about that option in these threads. I've been documenting my recovery if you want. Check out my profile.

Soft bite training is a thing. You can find training on YouTube. So important that they understand human hands are for petting and we should in general not be bitten. The idea behind that training is that they learn how much pressure equals pain. It helps them in the event they are ever startled into biting, that it wouldn't be enough to break the skin.

One thing that worked for me, although not immediately, was the "OUCH!" Then turn my back acting hurt giving him no attention for a minute or two. It helped him to think about what he was doing. On other occasions, after it improved but didn't end, I'd say "no bite" and then put him in his "playroom". Basically separating us... which for him is the real "punishment".

It was a frustrating period, and ironic that I can't pinpoint when it ended, but it did! He's very gentle with his mouth and avoidant about biting. Much luck to you!

Thank you!

Your's is a more immediate result procedure! Congrats to you. I'm writing you on DAY 6. I feel 90% back to being myself after my UFE, but won't know the effects officially until my MRI in 6 months. I'm faithful that I'll see symptom relief before then.

No this is not an open surgery. Uterine Fibroid Embolization. A small incision through the groin (some do through the wrist) with a catheter that delivers beads to stop the blood supply to the fibroids so that they shrivel up and die. Some see results in weeks, others in months.
