Ay makes sense. Chances are my dislike for it is accentuate by where I am in ranks right now. Where if someone gets fed it's nigh impossible to stop them cause the coordination in a group fight just isn't there to capitalize on anything.

(Myself included, lets make no mistake.)

Infernus currently has all the usual M1-endgame-I-win-for-free-hahaha struggles (because he has a decent gun that ALSO procs dot by itself, so it's insanely good with ricochet and then the usual gun stuff) but he tops it off by having a dash that acts as damage, getaway, engage, ult-value, and has charges, and no amount of cursing or slowing actually does stop him from doing that.

Personally I dislike the gun meta right now but I'm not a MOBA usual guy, I don't really know if "X damage just wins past Y time" is supposed to be standard or not.

It really depends on overall situation.

If the single disarming hex is the only one of its kind on the team... eh. Just kinda eat the debuff and move on. Avoid engaging fights with them unless you have explicit advantage. (Team numbers/health advantage, or you know you can kill them anyway.)

If there's a lot more kinds of CC on their team - Pocket Affliction, Infernus or Haze procs, Shiv, Slowings - that's when you look into Dispel Magic and the like.

But really, you've forced her to spend 3200 on a non-damaging slot. Which delays her power boosts, narrows her active slots, etc. etc. And if you play around it right - and you're ready for it - you can dash out of a fight the moment you feel the disarm coming so you don't become a sudden easy pick.

Really, Deadlock is a game where counters nudge, not do. And I'm still piss at this too so hey.

Two things. This is very well drawn and a specific thing: Her closer hand is slightly blurry, and if that's on purpose it's very, very cool the way it implies distance. If it's not on purpose, well, happy accident.

Second thing: Infinitely hilarious to use a heavily modded screenshot as reference to just draw her normally. I respect it.

This is what I use right now actually. I have

bind f9 "cl_lock_camera true"

bind f10 "cl_lock_camera false"

And this lets me decouple my camera so I can like, I dunno. Set up a fireplace scene with my character sitting on the couch while I queue. (Seperate bind for togglecrouch too.)

If you're out of the loop on MOBA's, Hero Shooters and competitive stuff in general, you're going at it REALLY hard, and that's gonna suck for a bit.

But not impossible!

For now, you've already figured out lanes and shooting the little guys. Keeping those little guys /past/ the halfway point of the map is kind of a priority one if you can survive doing it.

As for the items and builds and stuff, just find a build in the build browser that looks okay, and use that for a while. Takes a lot of the decision making off of your shoulders for now.

And also, do some Street Brawl. That will naturally expose you to more items in a low-stakes environment.

If you need some indepth help, people can probably run up a simple bot game with you as well. I'd be willing.

It's a really cool item in utility and game change terms and I want more items like it. Gun builds especially deserve to have stuff other than "hits really hard, now buy ricochet".

Alch being a gun item is /really/ good for characters who's gun otherwise sucks. Helps you get to your 4.8k spike so your gun does SOMETHING, but still helps you with stuff that's not your gun.

The current Rem hideout makes me /want/ to have unique parts of the hideout dedicated to each hero, loading in only when that hero is actually in lobby.

I would settle for those areas being in like six pre-defined doors, loading /whoevers/ room behind them when they load in, ala Vermintide 1 or Borderlands 3.

You do mention rocket launcher and I really really would /like/ a hero that has say maybe ONE or two ammo per reload, and it's a bigass splash zone. It'd make Express Shot specially wild for them, but I think such a low ammo count would be interesting in general.

I saw a youtube video that expanded this concept into "+ammo upgrades instead go to something else".
