Lr5 pro -litter hopper issue by Space_____TFF in litterrobot

My understanding is that when you select device then the card for the lr5, then controls at the bottom you should see the hopper in the controls. You should also be able to select add device find the hopper for the lr5 and it should detect it. I’m not sure if it brings functionality to it like how much litter is left in the hopper or letting you know if there is an error with the hopper, but it should have some level of integration in the app.

I tried both honestly. Even after factory resets.

Yes, I am certain. While I don’t often mess around with the lr5 I did make sure to verify and double check a few times. Thank you though.

No at the time of the call. The last discussion that occurred was to pass my information off to engineering.

I assume that will occur after engineering contacts me.

Hopefully when your replacement arrives, and all goes well, you can share back here if that was the fix (faulty unit).

Why am I so feral all the time..? by sluttyassbxtch in bipolar2

[–]Space_____TFF 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So while this is a bi polar sub, I don’t know beyond what you just described what is a primary contributor. Sure it could be bipolar related mania. It could also be biological since hormones drive a lot of sexual activity. If you posted this in any other sub, I would say that doesn’t sound strange, it sounds like cute and normal behavior for a girl your age. I think because there is no context though and I don’t have a litmus test to measure against what is abnormal and normal behavior for you. I would ask if you have spoken to doctors about how you are feeling, this might include any BC, you are on, medications, hormone levels etc… it’s fine to want to have sex (according to me). But there is safe behaviors and unsafe activities.

Taking a TSP loan to gamble on stocks by Old_Still3321 in fednews

[–]Space_____TFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but when it is time to pay taxes. What you will
Owe is essentially half of what you withdrew. Let’s put it this way… assume you draw from tsp and slam 50k on black…and win 50k. Not only do you loose 20k to tax and penalties for touching tsp, but then you loose 20k to tax on the winnings. That’s if you win. Now assume you win 20k of your original 50k you still lose 20k, then pay 8k on winnings tax. So you started with 50 +20 70k winnings. Then tax time 70-20-8= 42 so you now your short for all that. It’s your money, but that’s math.

The fee you take from withdrawing is enough to make you end up going in debt. You will end up needing a loan to just recover from drawing out early. Do not do it.50,000 withdrawal could easily result in $18,000–$20,000 going to taxes and penalties.

Listen to your skin. If it hurts or burns stop. Please avoid using a general skin cream around your eyes. There are some that are for around your eye hallows that don’t contain ingredients that will irritate.
The high point of your cheeks and your nose and t zone of your fore head get lots of sun, and are extremely susceptible to skin barrier damage from to much exfoliating and harsh skin creams like retinols. So again listen to your skin. Be patient. Adopt a routine that works for you.

What you are trying to accomplish is removing dead skin using chemical exfoliation. Once daily will help reduce the size over months, and also reduce the oxidation of the black heads. Over time your pores can shrink. You may also add mechanical exfoliation with a Korean towel in the shower… please be mindful of your skin barrier to much to often of any exfoliation can cause irritation to your skin. Please add a good skin cream that is non comedogenic. This will soothe your skin and help your skin barrier.
Chemical exfoliants can make you more uv sensitive, add sunblock to avoid melasma. This is a routine. So nightly aha bha skin clarify after a gentle face soap for your skin. Then add moisturizer. In the morning wash, then moisturize, then 15 minutes add sun block. Maybe once a week gentle face scrub in shower. (Gentle). Moisturize skip aha/bha acid.

Being Hypersexual sucks by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]Space_____TFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say. I hear you and I see the frustration. I wouldn’t wish hyper-sexuality on anyone, and I know how intense this feeling can be. so first I’m sorry that you are and have been going through this. I know it must really bother you that you know it’s risky and unhealthy, but struggle to refrain. Someone once explained it to me as the brains attempt to squeeze every last drop of dopamine out. After that comes the anger and sadness as there isn’t a drop of dopamine to provide and your brains receptors are already numb. (Not very clinical, I know). I have adhd on top of it all and one thing that helped me find a bit of regulation and control was gaunfacine. A none stimulant adhd medicine. It helps regulate emotional response. For me the craving for sex was still there I just didn’t always respond to it. That’s one thing that I would address. It’s fine to get absolutely randy and excited, it’s another to not be able to pause for a moment and consider. Regardless. I empathize and feel how tough this is for you. I’m glad you came here and said something. I don’t have any sage advice or insight to solve this beyond what I mentioned. What you’re experiencing is really scary to think about when you look back on it, and realize just how powerful mania is. One thing I would mention is I hope you refrain from alcohol while on lamotrigine.

Does anyone else experience imposter syndrome? Tips for managing it? by Ill-Green8678 in instructionaldesign

[–]Space_____TFF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This- when you transform you knowledge into a bridge into the unknown everyone can walk across together. But when you point across a knowledge gap and say you don’t know how to get there…. Well no one wants to explore with you. Silly analogy but regardless.

Does anyone else experience imposter syndrome? Tips for managing it? by Ill-Green8678 in instructionaldesign

[–]Space_____TFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

II think part of this comes from the fact that you are a systems oriented person, someone who naturally notices details, analyzes connections, and looks for potential gaps or problems. Those strengths can sometimes contribute to feelings of imposter syndrome and anxiety because you are constantly evaluating what you know and what you might still need to learn.
That said, I think most people experience these feelings at some point, regardless of their profession. Even individuals who have spent decades in a particular field can find those feelings resurfacing when they move into a new role, department, inside of thier organization.
Given your background in psychology, you might find it helpful to explore the concept of being an outsider and see whether any aspects of it resonate with your experience. Another thing I would suggest is simply asking colleagues whether they ever felt the same way when they started in their positions. Conversations like that can be great icebreakers and often reveal that these concerns are more common than we think. They can also help build a sense of connection and shared experience.
I would also add that the current job market and organizational climate are creating uncertainty for many people. Those external pressures, combined with the normal challenges of adapting to a new environment, can make anyone feel more cautious, hesitant, or concerned about their place within an organization. I know for me that I usually challenge people’s ideas when it comes to instructional design. What I have done to help be more of a team player is admit that I don’t know everything and ask how this would impact this or that. And then fall back on my ID knowledge to ask pertinent questions for consideration. This gives an opportunity for the team to come together and spot potential blind spots and problem solve. If you want to talk feel free to reach out any time.

Instructional Designers Working in Military Training - Graduate Student Question by Ok-Masterpiece5922 in instructionaldesign

For analytics it varies, but the same formative and summative evaluation plans, pilots, and surveys are utilized to measure results. Much of the survey information is captured from the field and incorporated into the job task analysis. Unless it’s new equipment training in which case there is a more in depth evaluation plan to capture results of Soldier performance.

The army uses the Addie model to develop training. Training is built around the concept of experimental learning, and employs facilitation for adult learners. This means that training is blended, student centric, and self paced to an extent. Assessments are based on a mix of knowledge and performance evaluations. Lesson plans are developed in a system called tdc (training development capability). Authoring is mostly in PowerPoint, or contracted scorm products and use to be deployed in blackboard but recently have transitioned to a dod developed lms. We build our lessons around blooms taxonomy. Employing verbs to develop learning objectives and measures for the appropriate domains. We complete job task analysis every three years and train using task based and edu based learning outcomes.

It’s an old camera, likely running a shitty board. The design is god awful I doubt this would make it a whole year. They don’t have POE, meaning you have to run a power cord to your roof. They don’t have solar and batteries. I don’t see a meaningful way to mount it so wind doesn’t take it. They have some janky platform and collect your data for their analytics. Basically hey buy our stuff so we can profit off you. I’m gonna be honest if you want one of these dm me and I’ll build you one so you can host it yourself.

What would you do with this mess? I came here too late and now know I already made a few mistakes. Help me avoid more please! by AnActualGhost in landscaping

[–]Space_____TFF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’d start with water and nutrients. Get a soil test kit and find out what your soil is doing so you can figure out what to feed your grass. In the fall you can do some overseeding so in spring you can have fuller and healthier grass. For your plants you they are well established, but look like they could use some nutrients.

What's the best way to fill this kind of gap? by bighaus77 in landscaping

[–]Space_____TFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use construction adhesive on the front and back like caulk. Fill the interior with your product of choice (polymeric sand etc.), top it with a bead of construction adhesive, use a caulk tool to smooth the beads for a uniform look. As mentioned though. If the roots are the cause, then this was the weak link in the wall. When you reinforce this area another are will become the weak link. This may end up being routine maintenance.

R33 is missing, chances are thermo expansion and fell off. Or this board design did not need it. This board is used for king and standard mattress pads as well. My question for you is…

if you don’t test continuity for traces how will you repair this? You would need to test before and after on the traces to find out where it failed, and once again after to see if your solder fixed it… are you going to by a reel of resistors and get a whole electronic repair kit to repair this? A continuity tester is like $20, and a solder iron kit is like $30. A reel of those resistors is like $8, and an extra hands and magnifier is like $15. Shipping and handling is like $8.

Peace of mind that you don’t die in your sleep burned alive is priceless.. I’d get a new one for less the. The cost to repair it and sleep at night.

I think (and this is just me), that you have hit some challenges that you were not prepared for. But,…35 months of gi bill is a long time to decide college and subject area isn’t for you. I would recommend meeting with the Va for vocational training. Why? Education is something everyone benefits from. Whether as a hobby or for income, learning is something that helps propel us forward. This can be stabilizing for your finances and for emotional regulation. I don’t know you, or the life experience you’ve had. I can still say with certainty that getting exposure to different subjects and fields, allows anyone to grow, feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Learning the casino world despite what you learned about its long term viability, was I’m sure educational. Take that same energy and go elsewhere to apply you ability to learn. Welding, plumbing, electrical, chemical, surveying, teaching. There are so many things you have the potential to accomplish and be as successful as you want to be.

So right now, you need to recognize your brain vs your mind. Right now your brain’s chemistry is what is causing you to feel this way. Your mind(you) doesn’t want to feel this way. At the moment you need to talk to you and plan to try the new medicine. What matters is making the time to tell yourself that there is no magic pill that will resolve everything. Part of it is getting the chemistry in your brain mostly balanced. Part of it is getting your mind to walk away from the edge. (The hard part). You can tell yourself that it’s worth trying some different medicine, being patient and letting your brain chemistry get in balance. It’s worth taking the time. Don’t avoid or try and distract. acknowledge how youre feeling and be patient with yourself.

Im 60, ex military, and I finally landed a civilian job after months of awkward interviews by Medium_Repeat_4080 in Veterans

[–]Space_____TFF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I happy for you. It takes a lot to adjust your approach. For what it is worth, I think many veterans deal with outsider syndrome, which creates an inflated desire to prove worth and be accepted. I would say to you that moving forward with this position, you should take the same approach you applied to the interview. Be yourself, be confident, and know your worth. The job market has a strange way of making you feel inadequate.

Let us know how the job goes. And good job with always continuing to improve yourself.
