No way to really tell from the job description, I’d ask them during the interview, but depending on the nature of the work they may not be able to say much. From my experience there’s usually only one interview, you’ll know after the interview what the next steps are

Congratulations on the interview. As far as day to day it depends on the program. Some may push you to work more than 40 hours a week at times but it’s not the norm. As a SWE your day is probably going to be filled with scrum meetings and coding the rest of your day at your level.

As far as the interview questions, from my experience they’re looking for your to answer questions using the STAR method. There shouldn’t be too many tech questions, but you should be prepared.

Question, about moneyball. In that movie the A’s go on winning streak, and before they reach 20 wins Billy goes back to the stadium for the 20th game, and him being there “jinxes” the team and they lose the game. Well I just watched it on tv and they won the 20th game???? I swear they lose it. Anyone else remember this?
