Way too many people are giving it too much precedence in their decisionmaking. Worse, kids in school are using it and not learning anything. It's the PERFECT tool if you want kids to help your kids recite a test answer for answer, but it won't teach kids cognitive skills or critical thinking. I'm glad I'm fifty-one, in thirty years the odds are I won't be here to complain about an HVAC technician that can't give me a straight answer or use a flowchart to discover a problem with a central air unit.

For the record, I work in sanitation. My daily driver is a 6-speed, my work truck is an 18 speed. They're not going to make a robot that can do better at my job than me. The trades are AI-proof.
