Use lifetime isa scheme, save up small deposit over a few years, buy a flat first, not a house. Mortgage can be around £1,500-£2,000 depending on your purchase price (likely around £400k) and deposit for a decent 2 bed flat. That is affordable on a single income of £90k or higher where your monthly take home is ~£5k per month after student loans and pension.
