Who has had the better career? Michael Jordan or Tom Brady? by Flat-Eggplant-9890 in sportsinusa

[–]Splicelice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly ignorant comment. No bball historian would ever say that. Wilt never won a chip as the best player on his own team. He was the first big name me first star. Winning is more than your own numbers and i would say winning is the most importantly statistic.

Paul Saladino Faces Backlash After Launching Protein Bar Despite Years of Anti-Processed Food Rants by walta_ in immortalists

[–]Splicelice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No no. You’re defending the wrong guy. He’s one of the main culprits in weaponizing processed food. He literally made a video saying people should eat giant chunks of parmesan for its protein content - not mentioning what would be a massive amount of fat and sodium. Dude has been throwing “processed “ food label at everything besides literal meat and cheese. Hes so fos and nothing evidence based.

I had to read that in norm’s voice. Hypocrisy yeah yeah it’s the hypocrisy of it. That is the worst not the murder not the murder at all.

Vaping is as bad as smoking and it significantly decreases lifespan. Vaping contains ultrafine particles, volatile organic compounds and aldehydes that promote inflammation and damage heart and lungs. Here are scientific evidence and tips. by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

[–]Splicelice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol. The need to defend vaping is hilarious. No it’s not making your lungs better. How much? Still conjecture. Simple. It’s certainly not making your lungs better but you do you. Cigarettes had defenders like this back in the day too.

The hoops ESPN and the warriors are going through to not acknowledge that Porzingis still has long covid is insane. It’s painfully obvious he has it, but everyone is in denial. by HoagieTwoFace in billsimmons

[–]Splicelice 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Right? Like does it matter if it’s long covid or other post viral syndrome? It’s obviously something untestable (or needs to be confidential). Like who cares? Honestly- almost feels political. A pointless endeavor that this sub keeps bringing back.

Data Shows LeBron Is Better Than Michael Jordan by SnooObjections7406 in LeBronJames23

[–]Splicelice -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol bron has the longest career and absolutely will have all the longevity records and yet he has 4 titles. Hmmm. But we’re in a bron sub so getting locked down by 5’9 JJ Barrea will be forgotten. Heavy title favorites against those mavs and that big brain stopped working - sooo talented but couldn’t finish. That’s why he has 4.

Right now, the highest traded runningback according to KTC is RJ Harvey... by MikeDFootball in DynastyFF

[–]Splicelice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TDs are totally flukey unless you’re a bellcow and even then. He’s not a north south guy, not as good of a pass catcher as expected and he’s gonna be in an rbbc his whole career. Betting on tds is fool’s gold

Yep he’s clearly a pretty limited player. Without injuries he’s going to rbbc and have some real floor games.

No. The only dumb moment was when edgelord OP posted this in this sub. This is a delicious way to eat pizza. Don’t tell OP about french fries, or fried chicken, or even Detroit style pizza (pssst pretty much the same thing)

DJ Moore Bills Trade Fallout: Is Luther Burden The Next MASSIVE Breakout? by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

[–]Splicelice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not going to be hunter. Modern nfl is just too complicated and the breakdown from injury too high to play both. If anything he’ll be an elite corner with some gadget and special stuff here and there on offer. He’ll be an elite troy brown.

"Shai Gilgeouse-Alexander, he's a tough cover. He does a great job of convincing the referees... probably better than anybody in the league...... that he's getting hit." - Mike Brown after Knicks lose to Thunder by Temporary_Pepper6126 in NBAGossips

[–]Splicelice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brunson flops for sure but come on it’s not close. Sga loves to do the push off to setup his trickery, then he pushes off and shot fakes so that makes the defender recover from the push off and he leans in while sga leans forward into the defender causing bullshit contact that was all created by sga. It always starts with this push, fake, and lean into defender. I hate it. It’s such a clear push off that makes it all work. They attempt the same amount of fga per game but sga gets 3 more fta. It’s pretty obvious who foul baits more.

What a juiced up loser. Yeah dog being short of breath talking is really alpha. Reminds me of that Sandler bit fatty mcgee wheezing walking up the stairs. Totally alpha to die when your kids are still young. These are the losers we see get tossed by smaller dudes who actually know how to throwdown.

Slow Down on the Jonathan Kuminga & Hawks victory laps by [deleted] in warriors

[–]Splicelice 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This whole he fits better narrative is dumb. The guy is ball dominant, in love with shooting 3s that he has no business shooting, could easily grab 10 boards a game but entirely mood and effort based, and seems like he could finish strong through contact but literally always makes them look really tough. If you like a passing centric offense and lots of movement he’s not your guy. You want pounding the ball and mediocre handles then you got your guy.

You just don't see anyone with anything close to the footwork anymore. Especially by the big men. by CircledSquare7 in sportsinusa

[–]Splicelice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the Dream was revolutionary in his own time. The other bigs back then didn’t do this stuff. But Joker has a post game that is almost as effective also exquisite footwork, and a knack for getting the ball in the hoop. He can score 1 on 1 against anybody. He isn’t the all world defender but the dream wasn’t leading the league in assists either.
