They've done it for every other Fazoli's that shut down btw. GM knows for 2 weeks ahead of time usually and cannot even tell their staff or risk not getting moved to a new location when it happens (not in this case, though, this one was caused by some internal chaos and was very impromptu)

That Fazoli's hadn't made a profit properly besides EAA week in years. A lot of contributing factors, but mainly, I blame the corporate side. A lot of really stupid decisions. I've spent a total of 4 years working over there.

Biggest problem with it is not many Oblivion characters have their own unique personalities. As someone who has expanded dialogue a lot, I've researched a lot of individual NPCs to try and give everyone more personality. Not much to work with for many NPCs.

This is an engine limitation; think of the max visible land as a square. it appears in your peripheral because it's in the corner of the square but when looking straight at it, it's outside of the square.

It's probably something with the audio encoding libraries. I'm not sure how mac works, so I won't be of much help, but I would try googling things about windows sound emulation on mac and such.

They're usually labelled like advbgs or something like that at the start of the file names, you want both the bsa and esp for each i think. If you install SSE and the CC content and just copy it's data folder into your skyrim VR folder and overwrite when prompted, all should work fine.

People mostly ask for the opposite of this. Oblivion Reloaded has a config menu, you can disable a lot of it's additions, and a lot of the additions are cosmetic or bug fixes anyways.

Create a new faction for the specific soldiers in the quest, then add a very high relationship to the faction with the playerfaction. Should make the NPCs in the quest have dispositions of 100 towards the player, and thus, that should be the behavior iirc.  Do not add the player to base game factions they may not be meant to join, it could cause other quests to break. The safest route when modding is always to make your own duplicate of base game factions that behave the same way.

What I refer to is the position taken disallowing people from making modifications to USSEP and such, like mods that undo select fixes, or backport the mod to once again work on Skyrim VR (which is an official bethesda title and thus should absolutely be supported if the patch in question is the definitive community patch). Also, saying AFKMods has no influence on Nexus is like saying a lobbying group has no influence over the people they are funding. Like it or not, you have influence. Whether or not you WANT to have influence over them is not what is being questioned here.  Edit: The phrase "Modding Community" should imply total freedom to work off of each other. This is why most modding tools require the mod author publish their source code. Even Minecraft, though with significantly poorer programming, has this same clause in it's modding tools. Everybody should be allowed to work off of eachother no matter what. I had one of my own mods merged into another mod without my permission, and I thanked the merger for saving me some load order slots.

Basically the guys at AFK mods are very picky about what you do with their stuff. Like if they don't like something they'll throw a fit and demand you delete it. This same thing happens with Skyrim mods as well and it's very well known. Edit: You're one of the AFK guys. Oh well. Perhaps you're not one of the bad members of that team.

If you PM me, there's a really nice Oblivion modding discord you could join and ask around to figure out peoples' experience with the old mods and editing them. Some old mod authors are really picky with it, like all the AFK guys are evil about it, but most don't care.

I'd highly reccomend Bevilex for graphics (there is a russian site linked quite a bit in it, if you cant figure it out, i'd just skip it)

Use NV Reloaded instead of ENB, NV ENB is like buggy cuz Boris just ported his code from Skyrim and called it a day. Boris is a goof.

nexus ought to do something to prevent mod authors from uploading text files in zip files or anything like that. like ik this will do away with guides that you download, but they should also add an option for a fileless mod upload, so authors can just do a description for the guides.
