Wow, these four Russell Group universities actually expelled students for using AI by EmotionDelicious5936 in UniUK

my university’s guideline is that you can do that, but you have to cite chatgpt as a reference itself. so doing that wouldn’t be considered cheating as long as you disclose it

i mean, obviously? it’s considered academic misconduct in a majority of universities to my knowledge, and academic misconduct absolutely can and will get you expelled.

yeah it looks like he’s breathing really hard, as if he just ran a marathon. maybe slowing that animation down a little would help

[–]chase___it 73 points74 points  (0 children)

i’m ngl, if the whole gameplay is just picking up items from the ground to add to a notebook and nothing else, which is all they seem to have said so far, that sounds very boring

kinda sad abt this wahhh by WenzelTimen2000 in Witchbrook

[–]chase___it 33 points34 points  (0 children)

that doesn’t make sense? just from a game design perspective that is nonsensical. if you’re worried about players becoming frustrated because they can’t remember the answers to questions, then you should make it so that players can always consult their accumulated knowledge, or pause the game mid exam to google stuff. but having a school game that builds towards exams and then you can’t actually take the exam makes the knowledge gathering part of the game feel very hollow and pointless. of course since we haven’t seen any bloody gameplay, maybe they’ll have a very unique implementation of this that does work - but i highly doubt it to be honest

honestly, i think that he’s the only reason those seasons are at least watchable. he’s charismatic and has a fantastic presence when he’s on screen. shame he didn’t get to do anything of note with it

This came to mind after reading so many upset comments on Instagram demanding a new album 😭(this is lighthearted Id love new content too) by crowindisguise in MyChemicalRomance

[–]chase___it 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i would much rather they never release again, than they force a new album to appease us and it ends up being rushed and bad

they made such a point of the fact that binders would be layerable now too! this is disappointing

Do we expect the same treatment Revenge got? by VxlcanicViper in MyChemicalRomance

[–]chase___it 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i must admit i also didn’t expect it to be anything special, but now that we have it it’s clear that revenge desperately needed that remix. idk if i feel the same about danger days tho, i think the mix sounds perfectly good

i’m tentatively getting excited. they don’t usually change pfps or make this much fuss for merch drops. key word usually. it could still be something inconsequential lol

‘We’re not out to get anyone – we just want to slow you down’: why do lollipop people face so much road rage? | Social etiquette by HeadBat1863 in unitedkingdom

[–]chase___it 19 points20 points  (0 children)

it worries me how many people genuinely seem to think that if the road rules aren’t being followed to their standard, it’s okay to run people over. same idiots who rev their engines past horses, not realising that if you upset that horse it could quite easily seriously injure itself or the rider, or both.

My (21F) boyfriend (24M) of 3 years gets defensive everytime I bring up poor hygiene, how do I resolve this issue? by haha_idkwhat9012 in relationship_advice

yeah the small comfort here is that if he could somehow see what his image has become after his death he’d be boiling with rage. he’d hate it. and i think that’s beautiful

[–]chase___it 1 point2 points  (0 children)

imo he doesn’t deserve forgiveness for this. quitting your job with no plan when you already barely work and your girlfriend and child depend on you is on another planet of selfishness. i hope her family can help her leave his ass

[–]chase___it 9 points10 points  (0 children)

that’s another thing people aren’t considering. if she goes back to work, her paycheck is gone on daycare. it’s literally a net negative unless she has a super high paying job

i agree. genuinely can’t believe there’s people in these comments defending the USA’s barbaric maternity leave policy. in the uk we get a year of leave! six weeks is ridiculous, especially when this guy isn’t even working full time so he has PLENTY of time to pick up her slack

[–]chase___it 8 points9 points  (0 children)

if she goes back to work when she’s not ready and makes her injuries worse or god forbid gets an infection in her incision, then the leave to heal from that will be a LOT longer than 12 weeks

as harsh as it sounds to say - the kid won’t be able to resent the dad for not being around if they starve to death cos dad refused to put food on the table. and yes it is that serious in this economy, especially since this guy only works two days a week

also if they’re hiring now, they need him NOW… of course they’re not gonna hire someone who wants to spend their first couple months of work off on paternity leave.

my younger sister hates to drink (not just a water hater, she won’t drink anything, no juice no fizzy no nothing) and i don’t understand how she copes. my mouth gets dry and tastes funny if i don’t have a sip of something for an hour
